I was psyched when i found this! My Tim addiction started with The Legend of 1900. He is so cute with those big pretty cat eyes and adorable chin dimple. By cat eyes i mean that I've only seen that light shade of green in cats, never people.
Finally saw this a few years ago. Funny in the 90s Roth went to Hollywood and did all the films and is a very good actor but Reece Dinsdale is so underrated. A very very special actor with great ability and versatility. He really is and was an incredibly gifted actor. I always loved Roth and Oldman because of the breaking through into Hollywood but I now realise of their generation I think Reece was very unique. Gifted at TV comedy and equally brilliant in solid drama. This should really have been a big deal this one off drama but it's almost a forgotten cult gem now.
I watched this film on TV about 25 years ago; I know, cos I was about age 13-16 at the time. I dunno whether it was a repeat or the original airing, but I suppose it could have been the latter. I couldn't remember any details of the film except the two main actors and the general premise of their characters pretending to be policemen together and being in a traffic car. Unfortunately, my memory was that this film was far better than it was. I had vague memory of them doing far more impressive things, including chasing cars on motorways and driving a car that was made up as a proper police car - but clearly my memory was wrong about all of that. I was disappointed. :( Thanks very much for the upload, though; I'd wanted to see this film again for a very long time!
Stumbled on this earlier today on the PS4 ouTube app - thanks so much for posting it, bought back a lot of happy memories from a simpler age....and it was just as I remembered it! Appreciated!

I've got a friend who used to do this. He got arrested for it 5 times. Over the past few years he's pretended to be a ambulance driver/paramedic. But he doesn't drive an ambulance. Just goes out to pubs and everywhere else dressed sometimes in uniform but always wearing an NHS/ambulance service lanyard. He's got an SAS tattoo so he can tell people he's served. He makes up crazy stories all the time like how he got jumped by about 10 people and fought them all off. He tends to watch TV shows/films and believes that what he watched happened to him. Total looney fantasist. But very amusing. After about 30 years he still thinks I believe his stories. Anyone who knows him knows he's full of BS. He's about the only person who believes his own lies.

I love pr-Dogs/pr-Pulp Tim Roth, something about that period where he was very convincing in every role!
Reece Dinsdale one of the best screen actors of the 1990s, dunno why he didn't go Hollywood. Maybe he didn't want to.
I believe he writes and directs short films and modest dramas like Moving On now
