lets face it, apple will do well only in lower temperature atleast subtropical areas. in Kenya that would be at higher elevations where they farm hass avocados. now apple is more complicated than avocado for example apple rootstock is not seed grown. but avocado is less complicated and less pest want to eat avocados.
