Just to let you know- a fake crows nest was built on the dock by the schooner Adventure…. some filming was done there…the carnival is the annual St. Peters Fiesta… the blessing of the fleet and the annual greasy pole competition…and the rocky beach wasn’t Half Moon- that’s Cressy’s … years ago the city used to clean up the rocks after every winter but stopped years ago…the other little beach is Half Moon Beach with sand! 😆

6 months after my husband and I met in 1999, we went to Portland, Maine and we got a two lobster dinner for 13.95 and it came with baked potato with sour cream, an ear of corn, a salad and bread! I ate it all and couldn't move the rest of the day LOL😂❤. We loved Maine and just wished we had more time there. We both had to be back to work in 5 days and drove 19 hours to get there. We went on a whale watching cruise while we were there and so pilot whales I believe they were right beside our boat. We both got sunburned so bad especially my now husband because he didn't have sunscreen on and I forgot to bring it on the boat.😮. Just loving your videos girls and will keep watching. My husband even loves your videos and he's picky when it comes to TH-cam.😅

This is how the north shore beaches are here on Long Island. The closest beach to me is 10 minutes. Very rocky but usually clear water on the sound. Until the end of July when the seaweed and jelly fish start coming in it’s clear. You just have to wear water shoes or flip flops. We also have ocean beaches at fire island and in the Hamptons which is white sand mostly and not rocky. But the rip tides are nothing to mess with.
We lived in Beverly and used to go to Essex, close to Glouster. Our place was the Village restaurant but I heard it isn't there anymore. Next door is Woodmans and it is very popular and good prices. A good day trip is to Clark's Bear Farm. Also where the carnival was they have a greasy pole thing where people try to make it to the end before falling off into the water for a case of beer. Don't try it Erin!
Great video! Have you checked out Perkin’s Cove and Ogunquit in southern Maine? There’s a path along the shoreline between the villages called the Marginal Way.

When I was a kid, I lived about an hour and 30 minutes from Gloucester in Hull Massachusetts on the Cape
