Special 2021 SPSSI Conference Session with Dr. Linda Silka: Using Our Past and Looking to Our Future

In this Special Session that took place on August 5 in celebration of SPSSI's 85th anniversary, SPSSI President-Elect Dr. Linda Silka engaged SPSSI 2021 Virtual Conference attendees in an interactive presentation entitled "SPSSI: Using Our Past and Looking to Our Future."
This session was introduced and moderated by Conference Co-chair Dr. Andrea Miller. During the session, Dr. Linda Silka highlighted research published by SPSSI over the last many decades and asked how past research can inform future research if we as psychologists and allied social scientists are to continue making a difference.
Dr. Silka is a Senior Fellow at the Senator George J. Mitchell Center for Sustainability Solutions and a Professor Emerita at the School of Economics at the University of Maine. She began her tenure as SPSSI's President on September 1 of 2021.
