This lady is called by God to be a teacher. Not everyone is called to be a teacher. wish she was my english teacher in the passed. I really love english. Must book myself st my local college to brush up on my english for personal development. Will follow this link more closely
You are right. Both are correct, but as you have said yourself with different connotations: one's opinion (should), and one's assumption 'must'. 'should' has a softer friendlier connotation.
Prepositions (of, with etc.) and articles (a, an, the) may be basic, but they are quite challenging to use correctly. The only way to learn and use prepositions is by learning them in context and as part of an expression. There are some guidelines that can help with the use of articles, and I will soon be doing a lesson on articles.
All your lessons are excellent. I am an English Teacher for 50 years. You have guided me a lot. I got a good name from my students because of your presentations. Thank you.
As 'dare' is not a word we use a lot, I prefer to teach it in expressions such as 'I wouldn't dare tell him.' or 'Don't you dare do that!' And I might then mention that it can also be followed by 'infinitive with to'.
'You must be upset' is an assumption that the person is upset because of what has happened, rather than the speaker's opinion that the person should be upset.
There are audio materials on our website, anglo-link(dot)com, for all the levels and particularly useful for pronunciation practice. These can be bought as downloadable files which you can then use off-line.
This video helped me a lot. We use have to / must / should + infinitive to talk about obligation, things that are necessary to do, or to give advice about things that are a good idea to do.
I have just double-checked with a couple of sources, and they also confirm that 'must' suggests that it is the speaker who has decided that something is necessary, whereas 'have to' suggests that somebody else has imposed the obligation.
the gap-fillig excercise must have been designed elaborately. It should be able to help most of us a lot. I must not stop watching your videos, because I have to keep going.
The answer to your second question: 'regret' is usually followed by the gerund: I regret doing / having done something. 'I regret to tell you / inform you etc.' is an expression meaning 'I am sorry to have to tell you / inform you ....'
Great topics and excellent teacher! Your explanations are always clear and to the point. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of this beautiful language
'Either' is used in a negative sentence. 'Neither' is a negative word used in a positive sentence. Examples: I don't know. >>> I don't, either. = Neither do I. = Me neither. I don't know either John or Tom. = I know neither John nor Tom. There is more information on these words in my video entitled 'Negative Words'

@@AngloLinkEnglish where do i have to introduce. I couldn't see any forum where i could introduce myself. Please help. I need to see that lesson necessarily.
You have explained the Modal Verbs - Should, Must, Have to- very well indeed. But these seventeen minutes are rather too long to keep myself focused in the way I could get in all what you have to say, no matter how well you explained it. Hence, I will keep coming back till it gets into my head, to my satisfaction. Once again, very well explained, worth the time I spent. Thanks.
