A plan that loves its humidity and pretty rewarding when the conditions are right. Again great for beginners. Hi.. thanks for doing this video.. really helpful. I have the green white and red pink one.. the green one is more healthier and I am able to propagate.. but the red one somehow is not growing as healthy as green and i am not able to propagate it... I always tried in soil.. will try in water next time
One of mine keeps dropping leaves, 5-6 every day. I ended up cutting one of the stem and place it in water. It is doing fine but the main plant keeps dropping leaves. What am i doing wrong? My other fit onia is doing fine just beside it. The drainages are very good. It lets go of excess water as soon as i water it. Also, i mist them once a day.

Ive got this plant twice but each time it has died. As ive never changed the nursery pot. Ive got one again should i repot it?
They are so lush green and bushy I too have the same too but it's not that green lush .Now ,I can have them lush green with your tips 🍀🍀🍀

Mam will it survive in place like Thane where we get good humidity in monsoon and winter but in summer it’s very high temp and less humidity?

I have the Fittonia gigantea and though not as striking as the albivernis, i find it to be more tolerant to all sorts of plant abuse. 🤸

I live in Bangalore and my fittonia plants are kept in the balcony where there's no sunlight at all..but they aren't doing good ..yes terrarium ones are doing well..you suggested humidifier..how to go about it?

Hi Ann. Does the same go for Hypostases too?
Hypostase in my opinion are more thirsty than Fittonias. Though some care aspects overlap, others are different.
I always end up killing fittonias no matter how hard i try... so i gave up ... even tough its gorgeous.
Do fittonia develop deep roots and need deep pots?
A category of discussion, that might help new garderners would be, appropriate planters... plastic vs terracotta, shallow vs deep... thanks a ton... very helpful video.
