Camera of Pixel phone as well as Gcam mods can't produce better skin tones most of the time. Sometimes it makes the skin wormer than usual, sometimes it oversharpen the faces. Google need to work on this

They probably don't test premium phones in tropical countries like India. Hence, we always see heating issues in them. Maybe you can keep a thermometer to measure heating in these phones for better metrics.
Pausing the video is required because the more you go on and heat the phone the more it harms the battery! Its a good thing the video is paused to save the battery health
Dude u don't own a pixel so u dunno. California itself is a tropical. And Google has hq there. I own a pixel. It heated only for 5 days. Now it's solid. Battery backup is so awesome. 8 hrs SOT

4:18 when you keep your phone near your ear the phone while calling reacts faster than when you take it away from ear. There is a delay and i think that's intentional to prevent accidental touches while in call when the when the screen turns back on.
I've observed the same behaviour in my 4a also, fades faster but screen back on is slower.
Actually ye instant call par baat karte hue time dekhna ho to delay ki wajah se samne wale ki baat miss ho jaati hai aisa mujhe feel hua

Same calling feature was available in LG G2 (6 years ago).
LG is masterpice.. no one cn beat LG's quality.

I purchased Pixel 6A on recommendations of many youtubers as they all were saying that Pixel is known for cameras. But to be honest Camera is good but not enough for satisfying me. Edge detection issue is there in portrait shots. Otherwise device is good. Haptics on point, heating issue gone after Android 13 update. Ideal for daily usage. I didn't use Pixel 4A but after seeing samples I feel Pixel 4a can probably take better shots than 6A.
I use the pixel 4a and I have been facing the same issues with the edge detection in my 4a as well but as far as the general photos go there is not much difference in the 4a(only the primary main sensor) and 6a but very minor due to the different processors. But for the price it undoubtedly clicks the best photos even managing to keep up with some of the higher priced phones

I love stock Android but yes the experience with stock Android needs to improve. It is particularly fast and clean as I like, but small problems like the processing delay you mentioned are there. After clicking an image, you can't send it directly because it takes a long delay to process sometimes.

Pixel is the game changer for Google. Being a pixel 4a user for more than 2 years now, the crashing issue is never a problem it may be because of the tensor chip. Being a 2nd gen processor may be getting mature to get a stable processor.
But the phone is a performer ❤️
I am also a pixel 4a user, bought it on the first day of the sale but tbh it feels okay-ish and okay-ish that too due to the fact that it ain't that much costly otherwise I would have never recommended it to anyone.
but in the price point that I had got it and given the fact that not many choices were there at that time in that particular price bracket then it is a fair deal but def not worth the hype.
One weird issue is of the build quality that almost every single person has complained about is the camera lens, not sure it is the design or what but it is very fragile. I have never dropped my phone yet one day I had found a crack going across the camera lens of the phone as a result the photos come out with a flare now.
I read on reddit and found that this has happened with many people.
I also using pixal 4a. I would say good but not best. I don't do heavily uses. Now when i get call i not able to pick call sometime as notification screen coming automatically when i scroll up for call pick up. Smoothness also good but cant say best

Great review as always. But I must ask, other reviewers put pixel cameras as the top of the line in the android segment but sir you put s22 as a better option than pixel 7. I am honestly confused as I was going to purchase pixel 7.
I have been using pixel 7 for the last two months and it's camera experience is good. Yes, it has issues in portrait mode, but ai features are amazing. Except potrait mode and that heating thing, samsung galaxy s22 is nowhere near pixel 7, same for iphone 13, as my friends are using the same. There are a few bugs and software issues but AI features, camera features, all are amazing. Talking about videos, you can switch cameras modes in between, which s22 can't. Also, you can record voices too in slo-mo. Overall it's a nice phone. And better than iPhone 13, if you're an Android user. I can compromise with performance but not with the battery. Also, s22 costs more than 60k when I was buying it and I got it for 46k using exchange.

Honest review. Loved it to know actual review of front selfie camera performance for skin. That’s what mobile camera actually used for but no other TH-camr reviewed that properly. All bullshit about back camera as if people use it for photography. One thing missed the videography test. Overall I became fan of your honest review.

I watch every video of yours and I like to see videos that come to know about new phones.
I think the reason behind improper edge detection is the lack of data. Pixel does image processing based on machine learning and AI and to use that they need data for the machine to learn. After google photos has started charging for storing photos, many Indians have deleted their pictures from the cloud and started saving on their phones or other cloud storages, so that means lesser data for the machine to learn which leads to poor image quality. This is my personal opinion not anything official.

My phone was due for an upgrade.. and I'm so glad i chose pixel 7..
Bought it in the first week of release from Canada.. forget the first week of launch and the bugs that came with it.. after updates everything works smooth.. and i love my pixel..
My friends use iphones 12 13 13 pro Max and now one of them bought 14.. and my phone takes almost if not better pictures than them at a fraction of cost.. 🤭🤭

A plus point of pixel phones is the unlimited google photos backup. That's a great feature for people who take a LOT of photos. (Although you get that with many custom roms)

Pixel 6a main bhi portrait mode main edge ko detect karne ki problem thi but update k baad improve hua h. March 2023 main 5G ki updates bhi aa gayi h ab 5G bhi show kar raha h. App crash bhi na k barabar h.

Only thing I can't agree with you is the camera performance... especially photography. Pixel 7 will easily beat S22 in photography.
