Just think this was the best chance Ryan Day had to win a Natty in the biggest game that Buckeye Nation was waiting for & they blew it. With NIL & immediate transfer status this program is at a complete Crossroads. I honestly don't know what we're in store for for the 1st time in many yrs.
12 is too much 8 is perfect, any thing more than 12 is absurd, 12 is to give other teams a chance, after 8 the talent drops off, a team might get lucky and beat a good team but lose the next game.
With NIL now being the rule of the day, does the possibility exist that programs such as OSU, USC and even SMU from back in the day, will in the future petition the NCAA for vacated losses to be returned?
Regardless of what method will be used, Ryan Day has one year to figure our what needs to be done to fix this. If he can't, then I (not that it matters what I think), then I'd welcome UFM back with open arms.
Lets also remember Urban's style of offense was falling off drastically before the britght in Ryan Day to be OC. I think Urban is great at creating an elite culture but his offensive scheme wasnt working the best towards the end.
Not selling all the tickets to the Rose Bowl last year may have been people didn’t go because of COVID restrictions because many Ohioians won’t get the shot!
Making football like college basketball tournament is a bad idea. More of something doesn't make it better. Need 16 tournament and get rid of some useless games.
Hype isn't reality. This Buckeye team is overrated! They may lose their bowl game, unless they are given a slam dunk, it won't be Indiana or any of the turkeys they routed.
I mean the bowl game won't really matter, it will be all young non starters playing due to players sitting out. So while your prediction of losing their bowl game may come true it will be more because of opt outs then anything else.

No way in hell would they ever bring Urban back. That's a pipe dream.
