"Pain unlocks a secret doorway in the mind, one that leads to both peak performance, and beautiful silence"
When you're about to cross beyond the void veil... Reflect carefully.
"Before I start, I must see my end. Destination known, my mind's journey now begins. Upon my chariot, heart and soul's fate revealed. In time, all points converge, hope's strength resteeled. But to earn final peace at the universe's endless refrain, we must see all in nothingness... before we start again." --Diamond Dragons (Armageddon's Ballad)

The Art of Worldly Wisdom by Balthasar Gracian, The Prince by Machiavelli, The Art of War by Sun Tzu, Candide by Voltaire.
Every reading list should include "Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka. Short and powerful. And I would choose "1984" over "Brave New World." Better yet, read both because they are totally different. Interesting list!
The dualistic positive nature of writing is that it simultaneously gives someone else something to read.
Thank you, it was such a lively and productive review!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Since you titled your vid "10 Books That Will CHANGE Your LIFE", not "10 Books That CHANGED my LIFE", I assume you are recommending these books as general life changing books for your viewers and not simply as books that were significant to your own growth. As I haven't read any of them, I appreciate the suggestions.
I will say that one book that had a big influence on me was "Siddhartha" by Hermann Hesse. I'm not religious...or even spiritual...but I read Siddhartha during a very dark, depressing point in my life, and it managed to get me out of my downward spiral of negativity and replaced it with a more philosophical, balanced attitude. I would describe that book as cool water for a thirsty man. Not an earth shattering change, but definitely important.
I hope this guys channel grows so much. This video popped up on my recommended and I’m genuinely intrigued now. Discovered so many more new books with deeper meanings correlating to my life. All in all, great video. Cheers x
There's definitely a throng of exemplary yet entirely unknown work out there. Marketing is tough for all but the most elite 1%.

Thank you for the kind words!
I'm not a huge reader, but the book that changed me the most, to the point that I basically became an adult after reading it, was "Justine" by Marquis de Sade.
Great video. found some new books. adding them to my list.
Can't wait to hear what you think! Which one's piqued your interest most?
@@NoCapeAcademy I'm planning to read The Four Agreements next as I was looking for something easy to read.
Good call, you won't be dissapointed! Enjoy! @@You-os6jn
Liked and Subscribed without even watching the video, will watch it, I'm sensing that channel is worth subscribing
Gud book review
A new subscriber here. You selected a nice range of books and I look forward to other selections you might have in the future. There are a few very minor points that you might consider adding to your video as on-screen notes. First, Marcus Aurelius wrote the “Meditations” as a private journal of his thoughts. You accidentally called it a novel when you mentioned your favorite quote from it. Second, calling Carl Jung a psychologist is a bit of an understatement. He was a psychiatrist and one of the founders of psychoanalysis. He came up with the terms “introvert” and “extrovert” and developed new psychotherapeutic methods. (Maybe the subject for a future video?) Also, Shackelton was an explorer from the early 20th century, not the 19th century.
Thanks for subscribing! Totally agree with the misuse of the word novel, did the same thing with describing The Four Agreements. In regards to Jung, it was mentioned that he's largely attributed with the founding of psychoanalysis. That being said, still getting used to this talking without a script thing so will definitely continue to try and improve, minimizing slip ups! We genuinely appreciate you providing your insights. Will definitely do more book videos in the future. Would love to go more in depth in some of them as well and do videos dedicated to breaking down individual books. Thanks again, cheers!
The Trial by Kafka, should definitely be on the list.
great video..watching from syria
Thank you!
Great list and content. The clanking sound is a distraction.
lol read all of these already. Seems like you’ve gone down a similar path as I have. I’d recommend Endure by Cameron Hanes, any of nassim talebs books such as fooled by randomness and skin in the game, anything by John c Maxwell, and thich nhat hanhs books
Also it would be nice if you broke the video into chapters!
Will definitely add those to our list! It's strange that the chapters aren't showing up on the video. We've got it in the description but it's not embedding them in the video😕
Good list of books. If I can only recommend to keep the music down a bit more. I found it hard to hear you at times as the music was somewhat overpowering. It doesn’t add to the content, but takes away from it. Great content, keep it up!
Thank you for the feedback! Will definitely keep that in mind!
Nietzsche, a friend you invite for Thanksgiving dinner.
~ before, he descended into madness; otherwise, best serve a cold plate of crazy.
*The Screwing of the Average Man* (1974) by David Hapgood
People in Quandaries, Wendell Johnson, 1946. General Semantics.
Meditations is not a novel.
Yes
Peace during his reign? Are you sure you've read Marcus Aurelius?
I see atleast 3 authors here who are anti-religion. Life changing books, but not in a positive way.
that's positive for me actually
If there's no religion, it's positive.
Organised religions are responsible for some of the most horrid atrocities. Rejecting them would be positive for the whole humanity
