Isn't it strange how some overlooked works, like those covert collections from Borlest, fail to garner the attention they deserve? 'The Hidden Thruts Of Wealth' is one book that definitely deserves a closer look!

Reading is not just enough". Take the action! Put your newfound knowledge to use. I read for a long time but Action made my life change in no time ( generally and mostly financially) That's my two cents on this

Action makes it work, no matter how little start and see the results come by

I struggle to follow through, especially financially. I earn quite enough but hardly have a saving. Rent, bills, debt, expenses take it all away. It almost feels like I leave paycheck to paycheck

If my husband and I had read "The 5 Love Languages" 23 year's ago when we first got married our relationship would have been much different. We were together for about 8 years and have been separated (living separately but still married) until last year. After reading this book TOGETHER we are moving back in together and love one another more then ever! This book isn't the ENTIRE reason we're together again (my mental illness is being properly treated and am finally in therapy and dealing with past trauma) but it's helped us to understand one another in a way we didn't before. Great video! 👍 Thank you for suggesting so many helpful books about all area's of life.

I read Psychocybernetics by Maxwell Maltz in college 52 years ago. I've never forgotten it. I graduated from an all girls Catholic high school so this kind of reading was foreign to me except i always had an interest in human behavior. i was pleasantly surprised that you recommended the book. 😊

I got so excited seeing Psychocybernetics on this list! It's probably the best non-fiction book I've read, in the sense that it made the biggest change for me when I applied the tools. I do recommend getting the updated 2000 version, for anyone interested. It's waaaay more readable, in my opinion.

One woman and it's Ayn Rand. I get that you will connect more with authors you perceive to be similar to you and men write with men in mind so it doesn't take much effort to understand these perspectives. But maybe you could do a challenge where you seek out different perspectives and different voices to see if it has an impact on your outlook.

I would like to recommend you astavakra Gita. It is not mainstream book in hindusim but a very direct book on philosophy of advaita vedant. Bhagwad gita talks indirectly and people could even interpret it wrongly. But astavakra gita is direct. Osho also had spoken about astavkara gita. You will find books.
If you like this philosophy, you can further read Upanishads, Yog Vasist etc.
You can search about famous people quotes on upanishad.

Reading so many books does not mean that you will be knowledgeable because majority of books are junk books. Before reafing any books, you need to define what you really want to do with your life first. Then select books which can provide you with info for your goals of life. But note that, each individual has different abilities, which means that notions in books are not generic formulas for everyone to copy to be successful in life. They are merely basic ideas and limited examples, and how well you understand what you read will determine how well you would be able to apply what you have learnt
Thereare lot of ignorant PhD individuals because they have merely copied well taught notions, but still have not actually understood them. That's why they have never ever questioned any of what they have learnt from teachers or from books
You can have confidence in yourself when you know so well what you want and how to reach what you want. Don't waste your time on reading any book about relationships because you look at and understand the world around you through your own eyes , but not through someone else's

In an unevolved society those in power will try to control the masses,
in an evolved society they will honor personal freedom and seek to DEVELOP the masses instead…
let’s move towards being an evolved society, it starts with your own personal development and moving towards creating more personal freedom in YOUR life…

Just downloaded The 5 love languages on audible and can’t wait to listen to it. Thank you so much for the recommendations Clark. By the way have you read the Quran?

I wonder about your categories like Relationships, if you had recommendations for an expansion on the type of relationships? It seems you concentrate on Marriage but not other types of relationships like Friends, Family...I have a bit of interest in relationships of those types as it always seems like there's misunderstanding, miscommunication that I can't seem to resolve/work my way through. Probably some of the information on the books relating to marriage have something that applies to other types of relationships and I'm also going to be looking at the books you mentioned but I wonder if you have some recommendations that targets other relationships.

Hello Clark, good afternoon! How are you doing today? What a amazing video, you have a great treasure in books! How nice! This is the first time I publish a comment in any of your videos, but since last January I have seen a few videos of yours for recommendation of TH-cam, for example "5 Life-changing books..." This new video I liked it much, I have about 60 publications in English, the half of them are "non-fictional" books. Well, the book "Steve Jobs", is a great gem. Nowadays I'm reading it, little by little, because is very extent. I bought two copies, here in my country, in English in hardcover: the first one was in July 2020 (almost new by 15 US dollars) and the second one in last October (very used, by 10 US dollars). This latter I started to read it since last March, even its letter is very small. I would like to get the book "The Psychology of Money", seems very interesting its content. Finally, congratulations for this video. Greetings from Sonora, México 🇲🇽... PD. I can read and write in English about 85%, but I speak it very little (40%).

There is only 1 book I read - it includes every category except the biography- The power of now - It is the only book you’ll ever need to read

It’s amazing how one book can change someone’s life. One of us are putting words down on paper for not being able to change someone’s life.
Also just being like a normal human being would be able to create something so beautiful and so spectacular. Personally I don’t just read one book I am an avid reader who reads a lot in many different areas of study but I do come back to the four agreements a lot.
I read it less than a month ago but oh my gosh for the good. I do recommend it as the author of that book is similar to your book and from reading the four agreements in the book you mentioned has also been recommended.
Is essentially about how to be happier. That’s very vague I know but it’s under 200 pages and really hard to summarize. Essentially how to go upon how you were raised not for the worst but for the better. To be happier and kind and create your own inner world of bliss no matter what is happening around you.
I do recommend it and suggest you give it a read if you find the time. I know it can be so hard to squeeze books in now considering how busy we all are especially with summer approaching but if you want to discuss it afterwards I am happy to. Or if you have already read it I am open to discussion if you want
      Also I am legally blind
