Bloomfield Resident here. Miss Merrifields Tea Room, The Old Sugar Valley Country store and Nettie Jarvis Antiques are all owned by Linda Bruckheimer, Jerry's wife, and were all purchased renovated and rebuilt within the last 10 or so years. She also owns the meeting hall as well as the building on the left as soon as you drive into town. The hometown pizza has been there since the 80's and is one of the only buildings on the downtown strip that Linda doesn't own the other being quilting store on the end that is owned by a local who won the lottery back in 1997. As far as the farm goes you were correct about the one you passed by being owned by the bruckheimers. The rumor is that the barn has an ice rink inside because Jerry loves ice hockey and goes in there to dabble around.

They do have a professional ice rink. Their property is absolutely beautiful and wherever you see the white fence is all owned by them.
