mirror casting of phone or laptop not possible?

Hi!
I bought the MI Smart Projector 2, but I couldn't get it to work. The remote control doesn't pair with the projector, the projector doesn't detect any Wifi network and also I couldn't connect to it via Bluetooth network. The only way I was able to access the system was through the mouse connection, but as it is not possible to configure the settings without being connected to the internet, I could not use it. Can someone explain to me what is happening and if possible could help me?

Are there differences between the global version and the Chinese version other than that it does not contain Netflix? Is the offer the same as the global version or is there a difference? Is it possible to buy a Xiaomi or Amazon Fire Stick to deal with the Chinese version, or is it possible to make a system conversion to be global instead of Chinese?

The colors for the first one I found to be more accurate and punchier. The second one's color are more dull. I'm sure if you search for a picture comparison online you'll see what I mean.
