This misting system is absolutely brilliant! I love the idea of putting a tea bag of fertilizer at the top of the moss pole; I've learned so much from this collector. I truly appreciate him sharing his balcony jungle; what an amazing experience ✨🙌
This felt like ASMR! I was so relaxed listening to you both talk and the music 🥱 Thank you Sean for finding such incredible planty people to interview ❤
Incredible collection! Of course you do have the advantage of actually being in a tropical climate! The plants will love it there!!!!!!!! Nice!!!!!!!!!!
What a magnificent jungle in this balcony! All the plants look so happy, a real source of inspiration and the view is breathtaking! I suppose that clean air has also an effect against pest?! ❤❤ I like very much to discover such plantlovers!
Wow, obviously enough heat to have that paraiso verde popping with patterns!! Beautiful collection!!! I got most of mine small too, love watching them get big!! That diy watering/misting system is brilliant, so smart
The hardest thing I'm experiencing right now is watering my 300 indoor plants. I don't have a balcony and placing them outside is not an option so I'm super envious of the watering system featured. 😍
My garden is also west facing, and indeed it can get tremendously hot and can be challenging growing house plants . I’m amazed by the amount of shade and tropical plants he has been able to grow beautifully, it is indeed a lot of work . Lovely video
Thank you. Do consider a net to filter light or select plants that love that direct light 😀 it is actually a blessing too because the west balcony receives so much energy
@@onlyplants oh yes I use a shade net , if not all my houseplants would’ve long since been fried to pieces 🤣. And the bulk of my garden is sun loving plants and succulents
i loved his garden. i hope to have mine sson. i have already started collecting plants just like him, cuttings and smaller plants are cheaper and pockey friendly hehehhe. this was a great motivational video for me now i have more patience with my tinny plants. i would loev to thank you only plants, thank you for your honest and pure videos. i enjoy watching your videos sooooo much
Like the video a lot. I also like to buy plant small as they are more affordable and more satisfying to see them grow and to split off some later for friends and family. The view reminds me of home and what a sight.
Very nice video Sean the plants r so very green n beautiful, he as green thum for such a short period he's doing great I enjoy it he love what he is doing thx for sharing we us plants lovers. ❤
Man I'm folling in love of your plants but also of you... 😊 I went to your country long time ago, and always hoop to go back one day and stay there further rest of my life. Slamat malham ...😊❤
GR8 vid. WOW such fast growth from cuttings. I "LOVE" Penang, SO multicultural, amazing food. Plants grow SO fast in Penang being so close to the Equator. 💕💕Kind regards Pete. Far Nth NSW Australia.
Wish i was your neighbor or staying in your country..im a plant parent more than 150 plants..we don't have many varieties of us and Thailand plants here in India..
Very nice collection, I like a lot of variety in my collection as well :) Getting into the plant community has also helped me a lot. You can learn so much from other people and save yourself a lot of frustration. The internet is such a terrible place to look for correct information, even from growers themselves. So many times have I looked up plants and where the first 3 results all contradict each other in recommended lighting conditions (had that with Solanum Quitoense, which I've grown from seed). Finding out what the maximum height will approximately be, can also be quite the challenge haha
This is a beautiful balcony, so impressive all of these came from cuttings! Gloriosum is NOT EASY here in Northern California 😅😅 I have to stick it inside my ikea greenhouse because it suffers without it.
The plants look amazing… however, I’m not sure if I’d recommend the misting system for each plant… unless each plant you have dries out at the EXACT same time, which is impossible to gauge, and has the same needs for water. Again, that’s hard to match perfectly. Will they be fine? Likely… but I’ve seen people put sprinkler heads or misting systems in pots that ended up rotting, because there was just too much water being delivered to the container. Even on a moss pole, I think it could become too much. Unless it’s only on for 30 seconds at a time. I’d be worried about rot. Also, good idea with the Osmocote fertilizer pouch, but in my opinion, it is slightly excessive. 😂 Like having show dogs in a fancy dog show, being pampered and spoiled. Will they like it? Of course. But I don’t feel like aroid vines are the biggest feeders ever. They grow without human assistance up buildings, walls, bedrooms, etc. and there’s no moss, misting or fertilizer there! And I live in California, not even Penang or Singapore or anywhere tropical! Yet I have all these plants outside growing up the brick walls. And I feed them with Osmocote in the soil, or in their Pon/LECA, but that’s it. Twice a year. 😆
Sometimes the plants adapt to the watering too hehe. Especially if you propagate them or grow them from small. Usually what kills plants are sudden change in care style or environment
My feelings towards Selaginella give the term "love-hate relationship" a whole new meaning. I love it as a plant, but I hate it at the same time because I can never keep it alive. 😅😅
Light affects variegations.. many of my variegated Aroids in my balcony will shoot out darker foliage during rainy/cloudy seasons and brighter colors during summer/dry season.
it’s my dream to have a balcony like this but how to prevent small lizards the beige color ones? they are everywhere in my country and i’m so scared of them once i tried putting some plants outside i encountered them daily running jumping when i lift the pots😭
My colocasias and caladiums hate attention. If I turn helicopter plant parent, they die. But if I ignore the hell out of them, they grow wok-size leaves.
Really appreciate for your visiting Sean. I gain most of the gardening tips from your channel, really thanks to you.
Thank you for sharing your garden with us!

Thank you. Yes I bet theres natural predators around. Indoor growing is quite inviting for pests.

Theres a way to increase plant collection sustainably, if you grow and propagate well you can always upgrade and get new ones 🥰
What a balcony jungle, put mine dilapidated one to shame! That misting system is inspiring.
❤️❤️ yes imagine the misting system for when we travel!
Beautiful!!

Haha yes it took me a while to warm up to the height! But well worth it

Yeah you really have to immerse yourself and talk to other growers to learn. Especially in your environment/area.
Amazing!!! 😊❤
Thank youu ❤️
I also buy small and grow them large. That’s how I can afford so many. He has a lovely space. ❤
I’ve never admitted this in the channel but I do too! Im a very thrifty collector 😀
Oh my 💚
❤️❤️
This is a beautiful balcony, so impressive all of these came from cuttings! Gloriosum is NOT EASY here in Northern California 😅😅 I have to stick it inside my ikea greenhouse because it suffers without it.
😀😀 thank you. I guess in drier climate they may be favorite food for spider mites!
Here in the US, big chain hardware stores have all the materials needed for misting/dripping systems. It can end up feel like playing with legos xD
I missed living in the US because of that. We dont have hardware stores like that in asia. People dont DIY much here

Very nice collection. I hope my Hilo beauty gets that big
🥰🥰
I loveeee ❤
Thank you ❤️❤️
My anxiety levels just skyrocketed seeing the low balcony of his high-rise home 😅
Hahaa it took me a while to get warmed up
I agree that epi albo is nicer than Monstera albo because the variegation stability and the white stays nice (touch wood)
And they are so fast growing and easy to care for
Hi Sean, Im from PH and been watching your vlogs. Will you be doing focused plant care for piper plants? ❤😢 Thank you.
I havent got a piper plant in my care now 🥹 ive killed the 2-3 that I got
Cari cari chanel TH-cam disini,, skrg musim monvar lg kk trend bgt tempat kami

music is so destructive!!!

Whoaaaa… mine hasnt gotten big actually. They just get very crowded!
@onlyplants when you deadhead them, the first few leaves become big. And when you divide the bulb, the plants grows so many leaves. 🥰
