I have lived in the UK for 4 years and it is clear the British government is at war with cars and those who drive them. And that would be all well and good if the entire country has London style public transport. But it doesn't!
Very true. Public transport options in the average British city are depressingly limited for a developed country, even in large cities. Birmingham only has 1 tram line and no underground lines at all. Leeds only has buses.
