Each to there own. But i can honestly say my Fx mk2 blows all my other pcp out of the water. Quality engineering and lazer accuracy. Lot of money but well worth it

Thanks for the video. The night vision,unit is,very similar to my Pard nv007, effectiveness two batteries. I found mine invaluable when having to eradicate a rat infestation from the bottom of my garden as they were very wary of a lamp. It was money well spent. That fac setvup,certainly has plenty of knock down power. A one shot clean and kill is,the only ethical way to hunt and do pray control. You set a good example.

I have spent the more time and had more fun than maybe even than deer hunting was bow hunting ribbit ,far less work after the hit , I would sneak out among them before light get to a good spot and wait till I could see my sights , had far more fun hunting rabbits than even deer I think ? I would do a cook a meal like ritual at leased once a year ! just found out that there are tons of mods for the Crossman 2240 that I bought a few years ago ,going to do it up for rabbit got the p1322 too ! years ago I used the Swith&Wesson K frame .22LR 6"" barrel ,that gun could hit at 75 -100 yds head shots ( I could see then ) propping with an 7' stick ! set up a hammock spot with binos ! fun fun fun till the daddy takes the T bird away !
I got one of these night vision units over a year ago on a promotion for £124 when they first come out. The screen is very sharp and crisp my only disappointment is there is hardly any eye relief so I had to adapt it to work for me. The good thing is you can yous it as a scope all by itself if you want to. You can get an adapter off the Internet and it clips on the picatinny rail on top of your rifle just by itself and in the menu it has all different kinds of reticle and colours you can choose from and it has a zeroing menu like a pard oo8p.
Where I shot the farmer asks me to leave the rabbits at his door but his wife dose a wicked rabbit pie 🥧 P.S I use a thermal image scope for night hunting
Mat, Do you have ticks in the UK or other parasites that could present a problem for spending time on the ground in the prone position? Good shooting. Those rabbits look healthy and should be a delicious meal. ATB, Michael

This show and his magazine are all about top kit and FAC. which a lot of us don’t have. At 30 yards a good shot would easy take the rabbits with sub 12.
....Matt explained why he went with set up at the beginning. He will use Sub 12ftlb quite often. 25yd Grey Squirrel shoots all the time. Very rarely does he use the FAC kit. He's even used Springers for 25m or less Rat Shoots.
The days of a Webley vulcan mark 2 and a Rhino 4x40 scope have come a long way lol. Must admit I'd wake an ox mainspring in for a little more ommfff. These new rifles are incredible.... Thanks for the video....

Here (open grass paddocks) the rabbits like to sit at the burrow entrance sleeping in the sun first thing in the morning and last light evening. Bit of stalking fun.
is a .22 enough for rabbit hunting ?.. been using it on rats but a local farm needs help with rats and rabbits so was wondering if its possible. its a spec ops .22
My only worry about the night vision kit would be eye relief. Looks like you'd really have to change your cheek position quite a bit. Thanks for showing.

@Pete graham LoL:) they, the shooter, farming type, are only interested in having fun and making money. They say animal farmers are " guardians of the country side" well why do they go slurry spread on hillsides near rivers in the pouring rain? Run off enters the waters and kills fish and wildlife which feed off the fish!. Farmers also kill everything on their land that doesn't make profit. Rabbits, hares , dear, birds of pray, pigeon, crows/rooks, starling etc etc. I live in rural area and the fields the hedgerows and forests are almost dead regarding wildlife! They spray so much poison around. I've only seen One lady bird this year! And the Honey bees are a tenths of what they were two years ago. Same for moths and butterflies. Every Sunday... when the environment officers aren't around..my local farmers have huge fires burning the rubbish, old car tyres, plastic, silage wrapping etc. Including dead animal bodies.

The first one you shot might have been diseased it had red eyes looking through the scope compared to the other ones

Generally over here ticks are limited to areas with livestock such as deer and/or sheep.

As this is an 'add on' to your existing scope, how do you compensate for the extra eye relief that is no doubt required ?
