- Jeff grew up in a Jewish family and, as many Jewish people do, he thought to be Jewish and to believe in Jesus was impossible. His grandfather’s stories of persecution at the hands of so-called Christians reinforced this idea in Jeff.
One day Jeff heard the story of Corrie Tenboom - a Christian that loved the Jewish people and suffered because her family protected Jews from the Nazis during WWII. Jeff was forced to reconsider some of his perceptions about Jesus and His followers.
When one of Jeff’s Jewish friends became a follower of Jesus, Jeff decided to study the Hebrew Scriptures. It was Jeremiah 31 that convinced Jeff. Jeff’s decision to follow Jesus separated him from his father for 26 years, but eventually his brother and father also came to know Jesus as their Jewish Messiah.

Praise God for Corrie Ten Boom and her wonderful family who hid those Jews in the midst of the worst time the world had ever seen so far! And through whos testimony many many people found Yeshua Messiah! And praise God for your friend Neil! Oh this was such a Powerful testimony when his dad finally found Messiah!!!! It's because he must have seen the great change in his son and known that indeed God was involved! Praise Yeshua Messiah who scorned the cross and overcame the entire world! Amen.

What an amazing testimony! I was crying when you said your Dad disowned you. Although I'm not Jewish (by blood that is!) I am still trying to get my Mom and some other in my family to the altar. what a small world I am from Romania and people in those days were persecuted by the iron guard fascists. Richard Wurmbrand was also a jew who became an ambassador for Yeshua. God bless you sir.
Seems like a lot of Jewish ppl want to believe their Messiah has come, but are afraid to break with tradition.

Thank you Jeff, what a remarkable story. Many of these "I Found Shalom" testimonies make me cry and so did this one. I wonder how many were led to the Lord by Corrie's life? There are other wonderful promises for Israel in Jeremiah 31 that the enemies of Israel should read. The Lord will not cast out Israel for all they have done. Thanks Jeff.

Thank you Jeff for your testimony....I've listened to many conversion testimonies of the children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and it has been a great encouragement to me. Anyone who loves father, mother, sister, brother even their own life more than Me is not worthy of Me. It's a hard thing to face the rejection of your family over believing on the Lord but when you come to know the truth what else can you do?

I love your testimony. In 1987, my Jewish dad died of lung cancer at the age of 60. A few months before he died, he received Yeshua as his Messiah. He heard the gospel and responded in faith. He also had some kind of a vision about the stripes that Yeshua received on his back. For us.

Can a “completed Jew” tell me what role the law and regulations of the Torah now play in their lives? Is it now imperative to keep all the commandments and practices? Such as not wearing 2 types of clothes or never eating unclean food?
