- This is an unaccompanied bass arrangement of the lovely melody Touch Her Soft Lips and Part, originally written by Sir William Walton. This compelling melody is something that I just felt I had to learn.
Muito relaxante ameiii ❤❤❤
Molte grazie!

You''re greatly missed in K.C., but we all hope that things are beyond great in Paris for you & Michael. Thanks for the kind words.
Top effort again! Love the tone on that Fender/Amp combination, be interested to know amp plus any fx you might be using.
Funny thing: Absolutely zero EQ to this track... or the looped accompaniment. I should clarify: Zero EQ beyond cutting some mids & boosting the low end w/ the onboard knobs of the instrument (since i was using the midrange-heavy bridge pickup). I recorded direct into a stereo digital recorder, added a little reverb to the melody when I blended the two mono tracks, & that's it. I left the basic sound almost entirely alone.
It is a Fender Deluxe jazz bass, so the onboard electronics/pre-amp has proven to be a bit more refined than most other stock setups I've encountered.
Thx for the very kind words!
@@foreststewart1968 thanks for the reply. The Deluxe Jazz is an excellent bass, I have to "get by" with a Fender American Pro Jazz 😆 The reverb was subtly applied, I thought I heard something but could not tell what.
Yeah, just a taste of reverb.
Certain tunes I've posted, like The Kiss a while back, I just couldn't get the tone I was after. The attack was just too harsh, clicky, & not dark enough for what the tune seemed to demand. I actually soaked in a hot bathtub for about 30 minutes, to soften up my callouses... that was the only way I could get the tone I was wanting. LOL
Then I could only do a couple of takes, & my hands were back to normal. How's that for extreme measures?!?
@@foreststewart1968 commitment to your art, respect 😁👍I've got most of "The Kiss" down now, your arrangement inspired me!
