Just a few pointers. - If you right click on the "unforbid order" you can now unforbid all on the map. - You should use the new Wildlife tap when you are hunting. - It's worth it to build the farms on the rich soil just over your base, look en bottom left when hovering the soil and see the difference (Now there is also stony soil witch is even worse then normal soil). - The conduits dont need to be roofed outside, only batteries need to. - Now the items also deteriorate from being outside even under a roof, so your wood will go slowly. And a wish from here is that you change to C instead of fahrenheit. ;)
The only real difference between Phoebe and Cassandra is the amount of time you get between events, good or bad. Cassandra has a steady flow of events that's pretty even and ramps up very predictably, whereas with Phoebe you get a lot of down-time between events. You're less likely to get screwed over by a succession of bad events with Phoebe than you are with Cassandra.
I've been getting back into RimWorld as 1.0 approaches. Just discovered the Facial Stuff mod in Workshop now completely animates walking cycles on pawns. Complete game-changer.

Could tell hundreds of things you could do better,not that you gonna read this. Maybe just one: you are scared of growing too slow ,but put your fields on stony soil & ordinary soil,RIGHT NEXT to the rich soil fields(double speed).But you never even read the tooltips have you.Also there were survival packets further on map(animals got em).etc etc Since this play through will never go long even if you survive,maybe it's a good thing ;) .

There is a music mod that ads some really great tracks that really fit in with vanilla. I love the music in the game too, but after hundreds of hours in the game, I have heard the same songs on repeat often enough.
you can actually pay to be put in cryostasis at the moment though we dont have a way to bring people out of it and there isn't a guarantee we will be able to ever. so its a big gamble. and its kind of pricey
my biggest problem in this game is i always give them too much work too do. and it doesn't help i mainly build mountain bases so i always have a lot of digging planned out

I don't think you need to roof over conduits that are outside, just work benches and things that use electricity
u don't need to roof anything with power except batteries cuz they will short circuit, the conduits or benches don't matter
benches get speed penalties when outside
