There is Nothing to Say, but Thank You Lord For Chubby Wise and all of The Beautiful Music that The Lord has Given Us. Chubby and a Lot more are Singing and Playing in Heaven Now, but We sure miss them here on earth, but I know We will get to see and hear them again one day.
When I was about 7 or8 years old, I sat on the floor, in front of Chubby, at Robert Herridge's house and listen to him play the OBS and other songs, teach other fiddlers, (my dad was one of them) and tell stories of 40 to 50 years before....Everything Chubby said or played came from the heart.
So beautiful. Brings tears to my eyes listening to this song. So down to earth and so much feeling. God Bless them ole boys. Thank you for sharing so much.
This song is so beautiful, please don't ever take it off. It reminds me so much of my grandfather who passed away in December. This version has gotten me through some rough times and I absolutely love it.
I remember listening to him and Brother Albert play on Sunday mornings at Christian Fellowship Temple in little ol' Macclenny, Florida. I remember Daddy telling me that on top of never having been taught to read music or how to play, that in later years he had a hearing-aid in each ear and still never missed a beat or dropped out of key!!

God bless this miracle of God.

Please take notice Chubby use every inch of that bow like no other fiddler in history loved him always
He said he adopted that bowing style when he played with Bill Monroe because that's how Mr Monroe told him to play. :-)

WAL BASH CANNONBALL my favorite
why pick a lovely rendition to pieces with a mistake that's hardly noticable
Typical musician that lets NO other one have a break. Sad, sad!
That man is no typical musician.
