- This is a 1986 GMC New Look owned by the CBOA (Classic Bus Owner's Association)
This is a late model as this unit is ADA compliant due to the wheelchair lift.
This unit is powered by a Detroit Diesel Series 92 engine as opposed to a Series 71 (this one is a 6v92TA), coupled with an Allison V730 transmission. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
This is a totally beautiful bus! It would look even better with a Harley Davidson motorcycle parked right next to it😎😎😎😎🏍🏍🏍!!!

It is disappointing to me that none of the 1982 Santa Monica New Looks (5101-5122), those with the 8V71TAE engine, were preserved.
It's even thrilling knowing of so many fishbowl admirers out there. *Seldom* has there been a product with no design flaw ever released to market. No matter their format, these models were pleasingly easy on the eyes. Mind you, their only flaw was the deafening loudness to their good-sounding engines, but really that was merely a N American custom, affair.
someday i will own one of these, only mine will have the words Santa Monica Municipal Bus lines on the sides, and all other era appropriate decals!

If I had one, I would paint it in the colors and design of Phoenix Transit System with Tico the Sun on the side, front, and back of the bus. And I would get a vintage fare box and collect enough money to keep her running.

Sounds just the 11xx series Neoplans of SCRTD/LACMTA fame.
Actually it sounds closer to the RTS (pre TMC) and Flexible Metro buses from the 1980's. especially when it first pull off.
I know this bus is called a GM, something that it tells me is Fishbowl. A GM Fishbowl called this to a bus
