@@Allsports48 No vex intended but the portrayals of slaps my Friend, are among the worst aspects of Nollywood film depictions in my African American estimation because it's exceedingly degrading to treat another human being in that way. I've been especially miffed over Nollywood's depiction of how gatemen, drivers and housemaids are so physically abused with facial slaps, and the "Are you *daff!?*" epithet given at the slightest mistake, as if these people in West African culture have no worth or dignity at all. I'll admit I'm a bit preachy here but African film writers, producers and other artists would do well to influence a severely needed shift in their culture by leading the way in depicting the appropriate, godly show of respect for those in the lesser economic classes for a transformative change. This is not a rebuke to you, @Allsports48, but a sorely needed commentary on needed life improvement in the Motherland, and remember, the LORD GOD Almighty is an avenger for those oppressed by their pridefully unemphatic, cruelly insensitive, narcissistic abusers.
