Andrea Bocelli is perhaps the finest tenor outside the classical world who can sing popular music with growing aplomb. His voice is a gift that he has honed to a magnificent instrument. A fine duet with human flaws. I miss the voice of a woman here.

Andrea absolutely kills it in the tenor range and higher notes, but Josh Groban still has the most polished and perfect Baritone voice I have ever heard... Really hard to decide who is better. Which is why I've decided not to even bother. They are both excellent at their specific niche in music. Andrea is clearly better at higher opera songs and a better rounded voices once it goes out of the normal singing range but Josh is just the most polished and flawless singer ever in the Baritone range. And honestly. Josh's vibrato absolutely massacres Andrea Bochelli's with how perfecter it is. They are both FANTASTIC singers. I don't know how someone would honesty say one is better then the other...
"... he struggles with the passaggio..." I thought I was the only one who noticed that! And it's more noticeable in some performances than in others. And I'm no musician, as you, obviously, are. I thought you were gonna diss him; at least you agree with me about the glory of his voice. (He's 35; how much more "mature" is he likely to get?)
I love the both. And listen to them both all the time. But Josh was struggling a bit with this one pitch wise. I have never heard that from him before. But it must be a bit intimidating to sing with such an iconic powerhouse like Andrea. Nevermind this song is not normally song with to male lead singers....lol. both have beautiful soothing voices... Bravo to both...
