Auburn has everything needed and have shown they can play aggressive defense, lock down dominant players, score from inside and outside, not depend on one player, go with the hot hand, play unselfishly by sharing the ball, get on top early and stay ahead, come from behind, pull ahead when it's close early, play well in clutch moments, not consistently get into foul trouble, and finally make free throws (with only a couple of exceptions). It's encouraging to see the team step up and not decompensate when an injury occurs or a player is not making shots. They seem to be having fun and celebrate individual and team accomplishments. The coaches that have been developing the scheme and approach both offensively and defensively have obviously prepared this team for success thus far.
So you’re telling me, the SEC is the best it’s ever been in conference history so far, the SEC has been the best conference in NCAA history so far, and Auburn is favored in EVERY game in SEC conference play this year….. different
Couple weeks ago I looked at Auburns schedule and realized they play most of the top half of the SEC at home and have no more than 4 losses on the road. I think they’ll beat Kentucky, Ole Miss or A&M to finish 15-3 which is a ridiculous record given the relative strength of the SEC. I think they win the conference regular season by 2 games and the tiebreaker over 2nd place Tennessee.
I don't know if we will win it all and with a brutal SEC schedule we will lose some games but as of right now based on performance against top level competition Auburn should be ranked #1.
Let’s be real Auburn had to play at Houston, Iowa state, north Carolina, a underrated Memphis team, and at duke which no one wins at duke also we lost by 6 so I think Auburn will do great in a sec play Also Iowa state is a finial 4 team and Houston and we beat of them so I think we should be great is sec team maybe 1 lose this team is that good And a good Purdue team
I want things back the way they were dammit. Like before Nick Saban came. I want a suck-ass basketball team, where listening for who who talks basketball is the way we identify weirdos. A somewhat equal iron bowl, yet obviously trending in auburns direction. Where we were leading the AU/UGA rivalry, and losing the AU/Vandy "rivalry". We are almost there. No more Saban. Alabama is in trouble in Jordan Hare next year, we now have lost to Vandy more than we've beaten them......we just need to get the UGA rivalry back under control...... And fire Bruce Pearl.
Also yall haven’t played anybody good And Auburn had to play probably two final four teams in Houston and Iowa state and beat them and don’t forget that we had to play AT duke which everybody gets blown out AT duke and we only lost by 6 and the best team yall have played is Baylor so Auburn deserves that number 1 spot
