I spent 60 quartz on the Europa banner getting on my first ten pull an Ozymandias gold rider spook :l but got Europa on the 2nd ten pull to make up for it. Only had 30 quartz left so went for mandricardo & got super orion instead! (Yes I got 3 five stars in a row, my mouth hit the floor lol) but missed getting our bro this time around

If you use his second skill and apply a guts on Mandricardo to avoid his death, be sure to not make him attack a second time. The sacrifice effect is for whole 1 turn, not one attack. If he survives thanks to a guts but attacks again he dies.
Who can I use to give him guts?
@@johngalt2336 The options best options that comes to mind are Asclepius, from the np, and Santa Nightingale, from a skill. There is also Irisviel and Scherezade but there are not as optimal as the other two. Another option is from CEs.

He'd seriously be an S without the lower than 50% hp requirement on his 2nd skill

Yeah, I had no idea what to expect when I started. But I definitely noticed his propensity to loop when I used the guest version. That and how he could Arash things up in a pinch. Combined with his super wholesome character arc, he's totally grailable if you love him. In my case, let's just say my Gudako is very straight for Cardo. Taking a page from Apollo, "They're way more than friends. Way more than lovers, even."

I got him twice after rolling 30 SQ. As a new player, I was indifferent about him. But boy is he a pleasant surprise. I love him aready!
Just wanna say that this guy is one of the best designed servants in the entire game. He has amazing damage for a 3 star. Plus a very synergistic skill set where he can enable your team to do really good damage by sacrificing himself and if an annoying enemy tries to spam evade etc, he can undo that, kill himself, buff your team before and after he dies (if you have his bond ce; Seriously, 40% atk up is nothing to scoff at) and get another support to buff your attacker and unleash hell on that enemy. And he can kill himself very easily if need be as well and lower his hp easily for his 2nd skill to proc and since his def up is not tied to his taunt, you can pick and choose if you want him to die or not. He also enables 3 turn boss killing setups where he can take out one hp bar, die (buff your team if you so choose) and someone else can come in and take out 2nd and 3rd bars and for these reasons he CAN actually be very good for challenge quests or story quests (eg: cernunos) etc. you can also use princess of the storm and pair him with george to make george more tanky and leo for the same reasons. Seriously, I would make a case for ranking him at S.....(seriously, theres a lot of overrated servants that people call S that really arent deserving at all. Not gonna name names for risk of starting arguments). But this guy is at least an A+. Also he is bro material so there is that... and I do think he is by far the best servant to come out of the atlantis lostbelt banner.

The main reason I continue to play FGO. I will simp and love him with all my heart for as long as I live!
Hopefully he'll get a few tiny buffs down the line, but I am very happy with him right now, especially after Castoria arrived! An NP buff for more damage or buffing his second skill would be nice!

The best 3* Rider period. I grailed him in JP up to lv. 90 and planning to do it again in NA. For me, he bested all ST Riders in the game even the 5* because he can NP loop. That -10% Attack for 1 turn after his NP doesn't even affect him that much because of his OC, 1st skill and 3rd skill.
I have a Level 100, 2k/2k Max Fous, 10/10/10 Skills, NP5 (Hachi)Mandricardo. If only I have more friend slots after another inactives purge, everyone gets to try him out.
Lostbelt 5 (Atlantis and Olympus) was quite the ride or die for everyone, and there has never been a Servant like MY FRIEND when Atlantis began.
Until a new Servant later on in NA like Old Man Muramasa and just recently in JP with the LB6.5 reveal, Charlemagne, will be the next to Grail up, I'm happy with MaiFurendo Mandricardo for now in my Chaldea!
While reading the lines and looking at the face of Mandricardo, Hachiman is the first thing that comes to my mind, as they have almost the same way of talking to other people, plus he is indeed a great bestfriend/BROTHER you can have

I just finished his story. I'll be lv70 10/10/10 him once i get him. Honestly, I haven't felt a desire to raise 3 stars for years. this guy pretty chill. the kind of guy i'd like to make friends with
Like you said it is so funny to play with. Even without Castoria his Damage and Looping potential is far about his rarity. Maybe he is still inferior to Ushi, but she got buffed twice. It's sad that he didn't get a Guts with his costume, but maybe he will get some strengthening at some point. At least he deserves it^^

@@khoanguyentranang1802 It's a good closure to everyone's character arcs. The opening theme is *chef's kiss*, and Yui's musical theme can break people's heart during pivotal and emotional moments.
My FRIEND deserves the mats and love. Really glad that I have him at np 5 since I'm not rolling anymore until Castoria. Meanwhile he will be friends with Bride and Tamamo.
That shade at Oregairu though xD.
I take serious offense at the Oregairu shade, as Hikigaya is my spirit animal…. It was pretty clever though.
Now I get why people like Mandri so much, the man is a freaking badass! I'm so happy to hear that he is surprisingly good as a f2p dps!

Already grailed to 90 and taking him to 100 during lotto. Such a great Servant.
Mandricardo is definitely going to be one of my top favorite rider to use i Battle. Not only is he a big fan of Hektor like I am, but also he is very helpful on the battlefield. Plus, I absolutely adore his personality and just want to give him a hug.

one of the things I would also mention about his taunt is that it can be used to give subtle np gains to help him reach some overcharges. I have almost got close to looping but just not quite there but then the enemy attacks and pushes him over, it happens more than you think. I was almost more happy when I got him then when I got Super Orion

I like that he has a very cohesive kit and playstyle. While he lacks hard defensive skills, there's a good chance that he can take a non-NP turn worth of fire for the team, and then go out in a burst of glory. This does mean that you likely want to have a second DPS waiting, which may not be ideal unless you have another Arts ST Rider.
I feel he both fills a gap for newer players, but can also elevate mid- to high-end teams when used properly. That's almost more than you can ask from a low-rarity Servant.
I've used Mandricardo for a little bit now, and I can say this for a Fact: Mandricardo is Freaking Insane when it comes down to his Sheer Potential as an Arts Looping Boss Killing Servant!!! There have been plenty of times where I've used him, and he's Looped his NP Constantly with almost no effort, and that's whether or not you increase his NP Gain through other Servant's Skills or not; his NP Spam is just That Ridiculous, and Castoria isn't even out yet in NA!!! O.O He's so close to being a Perfect Servant... However, 2 things keep him from that:
1. Mandricardo doesn't have a Survival Skill like Evade or Guts; he'd be alot better if he had at least a Guts Skill, so hopefully he gets Buffed in JP to where he's given a 3 times Guts Skill where he can Revive with 1000 - 3000 HP depending on Skill Level and has a 1 time Death Immunity attached to it.
2. HIS F***ING SECOND SKILL'S DEMERIT!!!!!!!!!!!! I REALLY HATE his Second Skill's Demerit so Freaking Much!!!!! I don't care if it's a Lore thing or not (Didn't look it up, so I dunno.), killing himself after 1 attack is STUPID!!!!!
Either way, this is just my opinion. So yeah, I really like Mandricardo, and I'm hoping that he gets the Buff to his Second Skill that he NEEDS TO GET sometime in the future!!! ^_^
I honestly saw him as more of a Yu Ishigami from Kaguya Sama. Constantly depressed but just wants friends.
I love him throughout the entire Atlantis. He is me, minus that I am not a knight. I really wanted to be friends with him, though in real life, maybe both of us wont have a chance to even talk because we dont know how to talk to people haha.
Is Mandricardo a story-locked servant? If yes, I would give all my primogems to NP 5 him, so far I only get him twice so I have him at NP2

Oregairu S3 seems by far the superior. Lots of closure to their arcs and though the other girl wasn't chosen, my heart still breaks for her fans even though I was shipping Hachiman with you-know-who (I'm keeping this spoiler free). Also, who didn't like Hachiman's rapping? NO ONE, ya nerd!

poor mandricardo. If that kit was on a SSR´s stats, he´d be straight-up broken: as a R; they just let him keep up...
...but he´s still getting my grails anyway. Specially after how his NPC version put out crazy damage numbers from casual use.
honestly was waiting for this one the most he is my favorite of the new servants and the one I was really gunning for super orion was extra bonus and if I hadn't of been in the process of grailing Tristan he would have gotten those grails
He is almost level 100 now because he is that awesome. I am seriously torn between whether I should grail astrea or mandricardo to 120 since we got servant coins so early

Congrats to those who got both mandricardo and super orion. I spent 90 sq and 15 tickets and got nothing... Seems like ive used up all my luck for this year already. I can't wait for next year's luck supply to come

I was going to comment something here until I realized that I was getting Mandricardo's second skill mixed up with a different skill.
Because when I commented it, and then read it, I realized it didn't make any damn sense. And then it hit me.
But I did use all five of the other units in my party to buff him over three turns, one of whom was Oberon. And he had Black Grail and was NP5.
Unless they have break bars to spare, there's a VERY high chance that you sentenced them to death.
If you like big numbers and have the resources, try it out next time a Goetia Memorial rolls around. Just remember to start the stacking on the second turn by stunning Goetia on the first. And you WILL need to gove Mandricardo a guts and jave a taunt on one of the frontlines with him, so he survives Goetia's NP. But by that forth turn, you'll slaughter Goetia. You will need Plugsuit as well, of course.
Somehow I manage to not get him in the banner where I got Super Orion, Chiyome, Wu, and Astraea where it's quite an achievement for me to not get 3 Star, the easier one to roll for.
i keep on getting him instead of orion, but im satisfied with his performance, although i thought he was gonna get buffed too with theos klironomia during the atlantis campaign
