- These videos are in no way meant to replace the purchasing of commercially produced DVDs of SCTV. Making this series available is in no way meant to break copyright law. I am hoping fans of the series will have renewed interest in SCTV and will spread the word about this Classic Canadian Comedy Legend.
I have included all 185 episodes of the Syndicated Series of SCTV. Please note that the Syndicated Series has material not available on the current crop of DVDs, and also that the DVDs have material not available in the Syndicated Series. Please note that there is also material not available in either.
This means that at this time, the complete series is not commercially available for purchase. I hope you will consider signing the online petition at www.change.org...
Death Motel, based on Manos The Hands of Fate. The mstk 3000 presentation usually available on yt.
Flaherty said he got the story and, most strikingly, the music ensemble for “Death Motel” from the legendary “Manos: The Hands of Fate.”
The Master would approve.
I didn't make the connection myself, but now that I see it again I can certainly see it.
I would love to find that interview. Nothing better than being inspired by that fine film!
Every frame of "Death Motel" looked like someone's last known photograph.
Communicating in Italian ….OMG 😂 As an Italian I approve that sketch 😂❤
That Death Motel music was kind of cool.
Joe Flaherty always picks on Eugene Levy. I love it! Flaherty knows COMEDY.
Cut Tony Rosato some slack. The guy can be funny and I particularly liked this sketch.
I always say it. Tony Rosato and Robin Duke were sorely underrated.
So many of the episodes were great.... but I think a lot of people would remember the death motel episode. One of those stand out episodes.
CanuckTV. I like that!
And I always dug how Eugene Levy could cross his eyes while looking up.
The writing credit on the Bob & Doug segment is Harlan Ellison. X^D
Wow! How cool is that?
I'm surprised Harlan didn't sue them for using his name. Lol.
I like the way he tries to overplay those crappy movies. "Wasn't that skeddy, Kids?" LOL!
5:05 - Rick Moranis's voice as this character sounds exactly like Jason Alexander on Seinfeld.
Count Floyd taking money from kids. LMAO!
22:20 -
this was - for me - the funniest moment of the whole video. 'Woody's' face after 'Count Floyd' told him he was kidding.
Thank you for posting this.
10:22 monster chill theater 🎭
I wonder. Did Eugene Levy ever play COLUMBO? He woulda nailed Peter Falk!
Monster Chiller Horror Theater!😂
I love it! Grew up on Fright Nights & Creature Features lol
Tony Rosato was hilarious.
He was! I'm getting tired of people saying he sucked.
@@anthonyarguien7785Well, I mean, compared to everyone else he was only ok, but he had his moments
A soup for jock itch.
How can you have a film with just Woody Tobias Jr. and not Doctor Tongue? That's like having a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup without one of the two major ingredients.
I could just see Dave Thomas and Joe Flaherty eating crullers and drinking Joe, coming up with ideas like Danny Eubanks, Cop Priest for SCTV.
"Brunoooo...Gerussi!"
Eugene Levy is fucking hilarious as Bruno!
How can a show have this much talented comedians it almost feels like looking at their college or high school year books for some of these John Candy Joe Flaherty Rick Moranis and that is just the short list how did Canada spawn 2 of the best sketch comedy shows to exist and yet both ended before SNL
8:14 classic bit 😂
16:31 cLASSIC
Major babe! ❤
Jock itch! LOL!
SMACK! SMACK! LOL!
I often wondered if the Bob & Doug McKenzie skits were improvised
Harlan Ellison! WTF!
Marumba rumba rumba! LOL!
5:45 Bob & Doug 😂
13:16 Bruno 😂🤣😂
21:43 Who was the guy always laughing in the back ground
Who knows? It's just an annoying randomly inserted laugh track.
Burnout McKenzies
Why are the songs muted?
To prevent copyright strike.
Copyright Laws I suppose...
4:17 count floyd 🦇
ELVIS n COSTELLO? Hmm. NAH!
The Angry Young Chonk of Burnin' Love.
I've never heard Tony Rosato say or do anything funny.......
He didn't write that stuff. Nobody could make that bit funny.
watch the hugh betcha night gallery bit with the record date.. one of the smartest bits sctv produced
Then you must have seen him on Saturday Night Live. Here, he's somewhat funny.
Not even Cooking With Marcello?
Boy, you'd make a great TV critic.........
'My factory, myself' one of SCTV's most brilliant parodies, Tony delivers the goods !
Jim Carrey is what this guys remind me of. The swing huge and sometimes it hits and sometimes it does not always have the courage to try. It’s the little things like that to the second bit. Were they can’t remember the name of the guy who’s gonna be on the next horror show he’s so low key unprofessional.
he had a little stumpy feet! ba ha ha. This Tony guy took over for the Ghostbusters guy?
Robin Duke’s dad must be famous. Tons of breaks but not funny at all. Italian guy belonged on sit coms
