I think postioning themselves is a form safety from which they can site danger before it reaches them. The though living near to the water stream is a good idea, however one should think about where they perform their daily activities as to not contaminate the water source.

The hardships of a modernised world are nothing compared to this cultures hardships. Modern requires mortgage payments, power bills, water bills, etc. This cultures hardships are obvious when you watch these videos. And yet they are happy. Would I live this way,NO. Admire them very much, very resilient people.

@@donna4047 I do think though men do heavier work though but for shorter periods. Where I live women have fought for equal rights back to the 1800s. Yes we got the vote and the right to work away from the house and in a way we have doubled our burden especially where men don't pull their weight around the home.
It is always best though to observe and realise that being different is okay especially when we look back at our own history and discover the similarities.
