Already have one ❤.. The soft top maintenance is a bit pricey in Malaysia. But this model is a looker and the as the narrator mentioned, driving top down is a bliss !
Tent proofer is a cheaper alternative
Great car. Classically beautiful, even today. Drives light and nimble but plush enough for that MB luxury. Total package.
I really found the back ground music far too loud and distracting from the narrators soothing voice
How sensible a choice is the diesel variant when travelling short distances; school run, four mile work commute etc.?
It is miserable for a diesel to drive short distances. It ruins the motor and relative components/systems to never get hot enough.
@@Davoodoox1 thank you for confirming. I understood diesels to be uneconomical over short distances but hoped this would be different.
we have one a diesel a tad noisy just a tad at lower speeds but over 50 mph it quietens down a lot and would pick it over the petrol version any day

Would you say the roof is reliable. And also what's the main expensive problems you've experienced since owning one
Yes, I've had year 2011 cabrio for 5 years, 70k miles, only problem was the front wind deflector which I had to disable.
Have an E500 4.7v8 superb daily driver and uber rare
