I think Noma is taking advantage of Cane's Oedipus complex. She's a version of Monet that he can actually sleep with. He talks back to her the way he talks back to Monet, but in the end he does their bidding. Kinda tricking him into thinking he has the upper hand using sex rather than putting him down like Monet. Cane's gotten a bit smarter from working with Mecca so I think it can end up backfiring on Noma for under estimating him.
Honestly if we had like 12 episodes in this season I could see them justifying The season split but since it’s the same 10 episodes they might as well run this whole season through
This episode was meh. Power has a tendency to weaken its villains in silly ways. They did it with Lobos, Mecca, and now Noma. The way Noma was introduced, you’d think she had a backup Obi waiting to be her right hand. For her to hook up with Cane and lean on the Tejadas for her business blows my mind. Tariq and Brayden are giving Ghost and Tommy Jr. - not worthy successors. Effie needs to choose herself but I don’t think she’ll make it. I hope Diana skips town and flees to Atlanta to attend Spelman. She’s not ready to be a mother. I don’t care for Michael Ealy’s character. It would’ve made more sense to introduce him as someone connected to Ghost.
Even tho it’s just a show-I think being that Monet downs Cane and coddles Dru, it makes sense that Cane wants to prove his worth to Monet, basically get her approval so I can see why he’s a mama’s boy. It’s like “you’re showing all this love and protection to Dru when I’m the one who’s got your back” kinda deal
If Cane is smart, he’ll sleep with Noma, get close to her then it’s lights out for her. He wants to be on top and that’s a way he can get there. Good luck to these little fellas trying to be Ghost! Lol! One thing about Ghost he was smart and feared.
I honestly think Noma doing that to Cane. Remember the comment she made about him having a weird connection with Monae? I think she knew he looked at her like his mom but a little bit more since he can get sexual w/ her. Her telling Obi she operates alone in front of Cane but telling Cane they’re a team and she barely knew him? Ion want to think after all this time Noma would be that gullible to let her guard down now and to anybody like…. CANE?? 😭😭

I hate to say it. But I don't think Diana and Dru are going to make it. I like Diana more than Dru and Cane, though. Cane is too hot-headed, stubborn, rude, and impatient and always has to have things his way and trying to be on top. Dru is too whinny, emotional, and stubborn. Truth be told, I don't think any of the 3 are made for the street, drug dealing life. Diana needs to learn how to be aware of her surroundings and to always watch her back so she won't get caught doing things and not know it.
I'm not surprised that force is getting canceled. Honestly, the last season of force was a disappointment as well as the last season of B.M.F. They need to cancel that one as well. Great review, as always, Ashley.
