At that exact spot you had the second fishing session on the reef city ford side I caught a nice grunter one morning. Some lucky bugga the night before must of caught a huge Barra cause there was at least 1 inch size scales all over the ground.

I've seen big barra caught there I've just never been lucky enough

I've caught some cracker grunter in that creek, some over 70cm but only 1 plate sized Barra and a baby Barra in a crabpot
