    This was much more comprehensive yet intelligible than other tutees on the subject.

    Super useful tutorial, will totally abuse the ability to edit pitch on the track, rather than in a separate window. Thank you!

    Nicely explained and to the point. I like the direct tone of the speaker and you covered every question I had - and more.
    Very much appreciated.

    Loved this deep dive inside of 15 minutes, Chris, awesome. I can think of a bunch of projects I have with vocals I can have fun to see where I can take the performance. Thanks!

    This is very helpful and thank you. I have a need to split one note into two and have not found the best way (splitting regions is not desired) I want to assign a note change within a single analyzed note.
    Ideas?

    Thank you, Chris! I'm starting to think AI assisted polyphonic pitch correction isn't too far away, especially since they hired the dude from UAD. Or that's what I'm hoping lol. I often record a guy that plays acoustic guitar really loud, so there's no way to avoid the leaks. So I guess an even better voice isolation AND polyphonic pitch correction! 🤞

  • @schmargle
    @schmargle ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Man, I would love it if Logic’s pitch correction sounded better. But I can’t take the artifacts, which are particularly noticeable with breaths. Helpful video, though.

    • @luukipuuk3537
      @luukipuuk3537 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Totally agree. If they got rid of the artifacts it would instantly be ten times better. It’s a powerful tool to get for free but such a hassle to work with.

    Chris,
    Great video! Question: Can you use Flex Pitch on vocals that have effects (Reverb, Delay, Echo, etc) Or do you need to turn those off before editing?
    Thanks!♥Gianni

    • @ShiningHourPop
      @ShiningHourPop ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It’s better to edit the vocals before any effects otherwise you’ll get some weird results.

    I need some help man. So when I turn Flex Pitch on it makes my vocal track speed up hella and it doesn't sound good at all. Any way to make it not shorten the vocal track??

    I have a query. I've been using the Flex option for my vocals for my album (I'm not the greatest singer). Everything was going fine (working perfectly).... until today.
    I've come to use it but it doesn't seem to 'save' any changes made once I exit the Flex mode. Neither volume or note correction doesn't save.
    In addition, I seem to recall seeing a message/pop up (it was late last night) which said something about 'Flex compression files full' or something to that effect.
    I've tried the 'bouncing in place technique but this doesn't work either.
    I've just 3 songs to finish.... and now the finishing line looks further & further away.
    Any help greatly appreciated!
    🤘😎🤘

    I have a question, when is it more beneficial to use an auto tune pluggin over flex pitch? 🧐

    • @arcrane11
      @arcrane11 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Auto tune is better for an effect type sound. Think the robotic Kanye or Travis scott type sound. If you want to just correct vocals and have them sound natural Flex Pitch or melodyne is better

    I am trying to join regions in the piano editor. I select two separate notes (not the audio file, but the bars) and click J on the keyboard and get the error "Command not available because no joinable regions are selected." What am I doing wrong?

    I don't agree with you. Magic does exist. Read the Qur'an. Haruth maruth. Even time of Moses the verse you quoted mentions magic is real meaning the deception is real.
