- What a stunning song. Had some issues with my camera so had to settle for the phone camera on this one. Anyway, learned by ear so no tabs I'm afraid, but the tuning if you're using a 6 string is drop A# and it's a pretty simple one to learn.

Great cover dude! That Gibson was so in tune and the tone is perfect. I actually thought that the first 30 seconds of this I thought it was the original track. Beautiful Les Paul man that thing sounds great.

Thanks dude! I sometimes mix commercially so a lot of it is using the ear, but the basics I’d say is double track and hard pan the rhythm guitars (I just record one set off camera) so you leave room for the song. Also I buy the track I’m covering on ITunes so I get it in a high quality file and the artist gets some money. Anyway, in terms of editing, I don’t do any except a little EQ and sometimes compression on clean parts. Oh, and you usually need way less gain than you think. Gain doesn’t equal heaviness!
Do you also double track the clean guitars?
@@kylesimbwa na not normally or any leads. It’s just the rhythms because they’re such a chunky part of the midrange
