I hear a lot of people say don't put pig house near a poultry house. Pls can you give me one disease that affect both pigs and poultry or that is transferable from pigs to poultry?
Besides the noise or grunting from the pigs and smell from both ends which we have already taken care of. Pls I'll like to know your reasons for say pigs should not be kept next to poultry. Mind you, there's a 5 meter space between both buildings.
I am willing to learn pls, educate me on this. Thanks 🙏

The way your pig and chicken house are close together is concerning. Incase of a disease breakout they’ll be both affected

If you start farming like this you have 80% chances that it might not survive.. u don't mix everything at once like this at once.. I have seen people start like this and didn't last for 2 years

This is a very negative mindset. People didn't succeed don't mean you won't succeed. Did you ask those people who didn't succeed what they did right or wrong? Management is key to success. It is not about putting up structures but having the right personnel with the right attitude to manage it. I believe the term integrated farming didn't originate from Nigeria.
Whatever someone somewhere is doing right and succeeding with, you can do better because you already have a blueprint somewhere.
Long story short, not all integrated farm projects are a failure. I can tell you that because none of the ones I've setup as failed and it's been more than 2yrs. Pls develop a positive mindset.
      Thanks
