I recently started following this amazing channel. I've never had Nigerian food before but after seeing this video yesterday I got the confidence to walk into local Nigerian restaurant in London and ordered egusi soup with beef and pounded yam, ogbono soup with beef and Akpu/Fufu. I also got three beef meat pies and some fired fish. Everything was deliciously amazing but that egusi soup is #1. I look forward to coming to Nigeria to try the real authentic food. I hope I can eat with you one day brother. Congratulations on 200k subscribers.

Good one Authorlifestyle! Integrating Nigeria through your food adventures. Well done! Apon (yoruba word for ogbono/ogbolo) is delicious right across the west, mid-west and the east, depending on the cook and how the people are used to cooking/preparing/consuming it. The ingredients are mostly bblended and integrated in western nigeria, the Edo and delta region have their own way also. All in All, you're doing well. Great content.

You can say that because you are from edo... Who cares!!! All tribes have their food and everyone respect their food. Apart from your black soup and banga which igbos also cook banga too( ofe akwu or akwu stew) which other edo soup are known in Nigeria and outside Nigeria? We are not here to compare. Eat your food and let me eat mine.

May I suggest, next time you want to mix soups, try to get yourself another bowl to do so. Your friend didn't seem to like the oha as much as the ogbonno. You hijacked the ogbonno from him and his reduced his eating. It was very subtle. 😅😅😅 Good job though.
