Their albums are incredible, but when you've seen them live, you wish you could just see them live all the time.
I admire this crowd! They seem like paralyzed, lost in the music, the trance really got them. Take a look at them during the drone segment in "War Prayer" would love to have crowds like these here in germany...
I never saw TWDY live but I need more like this. The shows i saw in the past few years in my country had bad crowds with people can’t stop talking while bands playing. Often about their new truck and what kind of allergies their kids are suffering. Disrespectful!

This video does not do the live experience justice; when I saw them live, they were so loud and intense that I had to stand in the very back. I don't think it was a mixing issue, but more in the way they make music, and that's what makes them so great.

I personally love the Another Language, i still listen to it. I´m glad they came to Chile in 2018 and I could see them live.

I actually did something different this time than usual. Normally I'm stuck recording my own audio using whatever basic stuff I have + board sound, but this time I was able to use the audio recorded by NYC Taper, who do a fantastic job with live recordings all over the place. TH-cam won't let me link you to them, but definitely look them up. Will post the specs they used in a separate comment.
Well actually, they probably just ran the line out from the mixer split directly into the on-camera XLR inputs and set the cameras to line. TWDY's live mixes are great, so I doubt they'd go through all that extra work.
I've heard every live set of theirs that I can find and this is the best of the best thank you for this I don't know how many times I've listened to it I feel like we've been through so much together :) nothing but love for them.
It's amusing that the video editor chose to include so many shots of the guitarist tuning. Great advertising for Rickenbacker (or just upholding their reputation for not staying in tune very well).
