HEY! Wan't to clarify few things! Due to my potato English and trying to joke in informational video, there is one misconception. When crafting you should look for "Item Level" and not level requirements of item. This can vary, and thats what we want in item filter, white bases of item level 81+ for most rolls, while best PHYS DMG roll on quarterstaffs will roll only on item level 82+. STILL... Algo is the same, and it's like optimising odds in poker :) P.S. Omen of Whitling rolling lowest "level" bonus, so like stated in the comments, it's not lowest tier, but actually lowest "item level" upgrade... I hope there will be clarification in the game for this stuff
Great video. I already understood the concepts from hundreds of hours in poe2 but still watched. I love how you teach the new guys the depths of crafting.
Part of the problem with poe2 is that it relies too heavily on having to use external sites to just be able to tell if what your crafting is actually good or not, why can't all this extra number determination of what level you've actually managed to craft be shown in game, why do I have to leave game and check another site just to be sure, on console they even stopped showing the relative low-high numbers when you compare 2 same items, which I used to use to check base stats while comparing items to see what was higher to give myself a better idea of where I was heading with an item
@@scotthughes765 dude as a new player it’s definitely frustrating but that’s also the fun in it. @@ar-highrollers86 There is zero fun in that. The game should provide everything. You shouldn't need to use outside sources to facilitate things ingame.

when your working out the probability of hitting certain prefixes or suffixes they all have their own probabilities of hitting so for lightning dmg for example the chance is 14.887% whereas increased ele dmg is 8.795%

@@ShorlanTanzo Every single mechanic is gambling. There is no crafting. Just build one of the OP builds, clean maps and use an external addon to see whether the stuff you drop has any value. @@BeltonPoE no offense to this guy, but I felt the same way when he mentioned the level requirements of the gear instead of pointing to the item levels themselves when talking about the potential tier outcomes of a rolled mod.
Spend more time telling us what the mistakes are maybe? This comment is extremely unhelpful, i have no idea what of the information is wrong since you didn't bother to tell us.
You could remove the garbage base as well, in fact Crescent, Gothic and slicing apart there is no need to craft on other stuff. I would prioritize slam speed on crescent and phys on slicing.
That first craft is basically everything i craft lol...i can build a house for my family with all these bricks. What's troll, is that accuracy can be a prefix and a suffix so double chance to get something basically nobody wants.
Do you mind sharing ur full monk build guide with us? I have almost the same staff but I am playing with ice strike ATM. Is lightning better than cold to bosses? I know mapping will be easier with any of them.
I have a bunch of white Quarterstaff bases but i don't want to make them lightning damage. What should I do to try for high physical damage? Do i use essence of torment or Orb of Alchemy or turn to magic item first then regal, exalt etc? Not really sure what to do.
Tried crafting 20 boots all came out utter trash nothing was worth selling, tried crafting 30+ rattling scepters to get hight spirit all came with no spirit and 0 + to minions none of them sold
You have some influence, but you wouldnt be playing long if you could make very good gear very easy, I think they call themselves "grinding gear" games for a reason, you have this or trade if you hate it, if you hate trade too then you clearly just don't like this game.
I still don’t understand why is nobody capitalising on crit damage, my 415 staff phy + 37% crit damage, 15% crit chance , 15% atk speed & 98% element damage does 90k more then a 699 physical damage.
Anti critical stat on the mobs would neutralise whole of your damage. So it is a good way to deal damage but crit stats are not healthy to be main stats for me
I'd bet money that the game purposefully sabotages the item when you have a few good modifiers. Lets say, you can roll 5 decent mods next and 1 bad one. You can almost guarantee you'll get the bad one.
