Hubble and all the world’s telescopes continued to examine the sky and found a number of fascinating things. Close to home, we’ll see news on Saturn’s rings, storms on Jupiter, and a comet with two tails. A little further out we’ll see updates on the exoplanet Fomalhaut b, Betelgeuse dimming, a moving Bat Shadow, an interesting globular star cluster, and a fly-through the Orion Nebula. We’ll cover Wolf-Rayet stars, a fading planetary nebula, and a look at the age of stars in the Milky Way Central Bulge. Still further out, we’ll see some spectacular nebula around the Large Magellanic Cloud. We’ll see a few distant galaxies, a fading Supernova and an early galaxy as seen through gravitational lensing. We’ll end with a look at the new James Webb Space Telescope due for launch this year and a few of the astronomical areas it will investigate - dust and the first stars.

I want to comment on the Narrator. His voice is top notch, you rarely found this kind of voice, perfect for the content. However, one thing though, I found hearing him gets tired easily. I can go 5min straight no problem, but after 10min, I start getting tired. I struggle to keep up, eventually I have to hit pause. Why? because there are a lot of new terms, concepts, contexts, they take a lot of time of learn, digest and get familiar with. He assumes we had previously learned that. To professionals in the field, it may be the case, but for everyone else, include Astronomers who are not in the field of study, its a challenge. I have a PhD, if I have to struggle to keep up, I think most people experience the same.

@@seanleith5312 you have a valid point. However, his videos are meant to give information and challenge our understanding. So much work and expertise have gone into them, and they deserve to be watched repeatedly. Besides, those terms and concepts are all well explained in other videos of this channel. When you have the time, watch them all and learn something. As Mr. Butler intended, these are video books.

I can hear some issues with the post-production, but they're forgivable because he's self-producing, and mainly because the content is so good. Perhaps previously mentioned but... You are virtually the BUTLER of information for astrophysics and astronomy. I appreciate all the sources and citations listed. It allows a viewer to invest in further research to gather more fine-grained detail. I also appreciate your use of imperial as well as metric measurements. Having been raised, educated, and using imperial measurements a majority of my life I have a vast inertia against absorbing metric measurements. Of all the TH-cam channels dealing with the subject of astronomy, astrophysics, and cosmology this one seems to be the most informative and the most comprehensive. I observed one little niggle- when talking about the blue and red nebulas you mentioned sunlight shining on the dust clouds. I have a thing about imprecise language which is rather difficult to avoid when talking about technical terms to the general public. I do believe a more accurate statement would have been starlight. Thank you for the time and effort invested in creating these videos. Of all the channels on TH-cam addressing these subjects I'm more inclined to invest in this channel monetarily despite being on a very low fixed income. Kudos! Very much appreciated.

I needed a JWST fix, and you provided it. Thanks. BTW, some of the images in this video (whether computer simulated or not) were tremendous. Love 'em.

I am not exaggerating or overstating the situation when I say
cannot express in words my gratitude for your work and time in creating this channel and its content. Then you even update videos in 4k or remove music and repost for random complainers. On top of all of this, you seemingly have not monetized your channel. I mean, you're on a different level of classy, sir. A real mensch, as our fellow Jewish friends would say. Also, as a self taught astrophysics/cosmology STRAIGHT JUNKIE, you have indeed brought many subjects and ideas to converge into a true understanding for me - especially for someone like me who is trying to teach himself the math associated with classical mechanics with varying levels of success. So thank you very much.
However, sir, indeed a few ads would be a small price to pay to watch these videos and I put forward righteously without doubt that Mr Butler truly deserves any monetary value he can squeeze from the cheap communists ideologues at TH-cam/Google.
    Thank you so much sir.
    Many blessings!
I'd love a Q&A or an AMA so that I could pick your brain and get your opinions on certain non-copernican evidence surrounding our local bulk flow, CMB and represented in the proposed age of the Milky Way and many other examples.
Sorry for the book of a comment.
