- This beautiful Sarabande comes from the world premiere recording of Emily-Rose Rose Šárkova's arrangement of Marais' suite in E minor from Book IV. The suite was released on The Marais Project's 20th Anniversary CD, "The Garden Party." (Available on Bandcamp, Spotify, itunes and at www.maraisproject.com.au). The video was filmed in the south of Sydney, Australia, in December 2019, just as major bushfires were beginning to burn. We release it now in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Music matters more than ever...

Wow amazingly beautiful both! I never thought about how actually the accordion, along with the viole, is amongst the rare instruments that can make crescendo on a single note (the piano, harpsichord and lute cannot). Not to mention that you seem to be able to provide your own continuo bass part!
