E-props is well known for that, but they have been producing props for the 9 series Rotax for 15 years now. Truth be told they have only become the leader in props in this category for a short time now since the latest V 20 series with titanium leading edges about 4 years ago.
Hi Larry, thanks for these very helpful technical videos. I'd love an e-prop, but P&m don't certify them for QuikR trikes, in Australia at least. Recently I saw your videos (made 3 yrs ago) about wing tuning a trike, and you talked about rib camber in front and behind hangpoint..... then my light switched on regarding trim speed. Thank you!
Hi Larry, greetings from Australia thank you, that was the most detailed / informative E-Prop set up demo I've watched, I have a question on the "Captive" nylock nuts? - is there a cycle life limitation (number of times the bolts can be removed and re -installed ) on the captive nuts? my reason for asking, many aviation reg's stipulate nylock nuts - single use only? not sure how E-Props manage that requirement for the captive nuts? Cheers from DownUnder, Glenn.
Thank you, In the US. the FAA recommendation in part 43 refers to the nylock retaining its friction. So theoretically it can be used several times without replacing IF it still has the friction required to lock.
Hello Larry What a nice plane I have a question I got the training video from you getting ready for a future purchase I want to go to sun and fun if you guys going to go Are you guys going to the show
@@joshc7091 tell me about it! I know Just always something put me on a holding pattern. Like my paramotor accident, then my dirt bike one, money in to the business, etc see!! 😂
I'm enjoying my 4 blade e-prop you sold me. Nice and smooth and good performance over the 3 blade.
Oh hell yes! I didn’t realize they made eprop for larger engines/planes
ummm.....its a Rotax 914.......nothing new here.
For the longest eprop was only made for back pack paragliding rigs!

Glad I could be of help. Hope to keep making more of the how to stuff. Especially the wing stuff since it’s not common knowledge.

What is the best wind speed to fly revo and like other power glider?
Can you rephrase the question?
@@LarrySMednick i'm sorry, How much wind speed will be beneficial to run Revo? That is, weather conditions.
Thank you.
