Borderline personality disorder is caused by abusive parents who have traumatized their child. On top of this her parents sent her to an institution where they tortured children, legally. Her parents should be sent to prison. Ironically, they send people to prison for a living. This poor poor child, I feel so bad for her.

Oof! She was a part of that troubled teen industry. I watch people on tiktok who went through that. And I have been through a similar program too, but mine was a day program thankfully where we werent there overnight. It’s a really rough life, and the adults that run them tend to be sadistic and get enjoyment out of hurting children. Albeit physically, mentally, or even sexually. It causes lots of PTSD, and I talked about my experiences in therapy for years… I have BPD too, and it’s no wonder when a main part of it is fear of abandonment, and your parents literally abandon you and sign over your rights to strangers.
It was difficult listening to her talk about the school she went to. I really think she should use her platform to expose this place and other places. They shouldn't be allowed. Her parents sound pretty terrible.
My son, daughter, and I have ADHD. I'm a carrier of fragile X syndrome so my son has it along with Autism spectrum disorder. My daughter has traits as well and is on medication. My husband has been bipolar/borderline his whole life along with mental health hospital visits. Finding coverage and mental health is a journey in itself. Everything she said is very true.
Rachel Wolfson, I received the bi-polar diagnosis at 9 and got the revised diagnosis of BPD at 40. I also have thyroid problems among other stupid ailments. A lot of the same medications and issues from them as well. Also, I've suffered from clinical depression my whole entire existence. BPD was described to me like this, imagine your emotions have a volume button, and now imagine the volume button is snapped off and swings wildly up to full volume or all the way down to off (and up and down, up and down). Yes, everything with even a slight negative tone feels like a soul crushing, apocalyptic experience. Physically as well! Anyway, I wanted to say that I became an instant fan the minute I heard that a female was rolling full-on with the boys of Jackass. Now, I'm even more of a fan after learning about you as a person. Stay strong and keep doing what you're doing cause you fuckin ROCK!

Similarly on ‘low days’ I can’t find my words either. Its a stark contrast from literally every interview she’s really ever done. Shes so smiley and cherry on all others. I think having to sit with your thoughts and share them makes people like us feel even worse sometimes.
My best friend in high school went to that school in Utah. 2 huge dudes came in her room in the middle of the night. Woke her up and took her while her parents watched. I had no idea. Parents told me she was now living with an aunt. 1 or 2 years later she was finally able to sneak in a phone call and let me know what really happened. Her parents sued my high school for miseducation to help fund it. Apparently it’s very expensive.
I was also in a therapeutic boarding school in high school and I was one of the ones who was snatched up by the strangers in my home literally at 3am. It's insane. You can't make this shit up.
