    May I ask if its possible to have an output voltage of 0V to 30V in this kit? I hope you may notice my comment since this video is 1 yr ago already. Thank you so much!!

    Thank you for the video. Got the kit, but the instructions are unclear for n00bs. 200 mA is not bothering me, I need something to test the soldering training kits, as they are powered from 3V - 12V. Usually I need to find the right power supply to just test, which is PITA, to see if I botched up another soldering kit :D

    Hello, I have the same kit. I am troubled by the Green and Red Led Just dimming while the power supply works. Is there problem in the schematic? Like how the schematic is built. Because all my components are connected properly.

      @Ivan Petrov Hi, without load the power supply works correctly?
      @Tomáš Mark During normal operation only the blue LED remains on, the others flash.

    Stefano, what do you think of this e.kit overall?
    I bought a geiger counter and it was a fun project to build.
    My only micro gripe was the annular rings on the PCBs were tiny which makes it harder to solder to for a rookie like myself. :)
    I want to buy a proper adjustable lab power supply eventually but in the mean time I wouldn't mind building one myself.
    Do you thing this kit has enough juice?
    I notice it has a very low output amperage of what 200 mah?
    Is that going to be enough?
    Right now, I'm just building kits from ebay, Amazon, and AliExpress.

    • @Stefano91ste
      @Stefano91ste  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, this power supply is good, and fun to assemble.. but only if you need the 200mA output it has.

    • @decem_unosquattro9538
      @decem_unosquattro9538 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Stefano91ste Okay, its seems now its obvious. low amperes means limited in what I can power. Hmmm.
      I noticed too late that this kit you build has a fault.
      The 4 digit display has pcb with wings. The wings have holes but the main pcb has no holes for bolts which is bit crappy still everything else is good. It has a very acrylic case which I like. Pity about the 4 digit display just flapping around on three wires. I dont know why they didn't do it properly it could have been the best mini psu on the web.
      Anyway, when I get mine (Monday I hope) I might get some solid copper wire to solder it to the pcb with.
      Thanks Stefano, your a protectionist and take a great deal of pride in solder and making great content.
      That must be very time consuming.
      😀👍🏻

    Thank you for your work Stefano, I really hope you have as much fun making these as I do watching them. There is only one thing I cannot find on your channel.. an amplifier clipping detector LED! Is it possible you could make one? That would be awesome, as I want one in my car!
    Have a great day :)

      Hi, thank you so much for appreciating my work on TH-cam! - you are right there is no clipping indicator, in reality there are still many projects that I will have to carry out, as I have time and more and more experience =)

      The yellow, red and green LEDs are like a small status indicator, of the part of the circuit that generates the signal for the tests (the circuit is a PSU + fixed non-adjustable signal generator) :)

      I was reading last night about amplitude, frequency, sine waves and what a hertz is or maybe that has something to do with it.

      I've only just started to teach myself electronics which of course means I got a long way ro go before I understand and and appreciate what all these other gadgets do like "signal generators".

    Très beau Kit mais il n'y a pas d'isolation sur les fixations du transformateur (vis + écrou), le transformateur n"est pas relié à la terre (chassis ground), il y a un risque extrême si il y a défaut du transformateur, en terme de sécurité. J'adore vos vidéos. Un bonjour de la France.
