As a tapper myself for around 7-8 years now, I can definitely say that this choreo included elements used in tap and musical theater as well.
And it’s especially hard if you’ve never tried it or have experience in that area, big round of applause to seventeen for executing it so well and having amazing synchronization throughout the years!!

I am super glad that they really keep in mind of seungkwan’s injury when allocating his part. There is a part in the choreography that he didn’t have to dance and at the first formation, seungkwan is the bunch to dance as welllll

Apparently this songs production started in late 2019. Eventhough everyone was happy with the song, woozi kept working on it more till he was satisfied with it.
The choreo is also swing dance of the jazz era.

They spoil their choreos on latest live performances like on Caratland they changed the ending choreo with HOme;run's beggining choreo! like they did that multiple times already. Their ending pose in Dont wanna cry is the beggining pose of one of their songs like AAAAAAAAAAAAAA king behavior
There's so many details in the choreo that I almost missed Seungkwan leaving the screen for a second. It actually looks pretty hard and tiring because there's so many jumps and details but they're so synchronized. I thought at first the choreo would be easy but looking at this it went beyond my expectations ngl. I guess that's Seventeen for u XD

Just saying, Jeff, if you ever feel it, we would love that 1h video talking about seventeen choreographies. Like, any of their choreographies. You always explain details and techniques in a pretty understandable way, even if we don't know a single thing about dance ^^

Honestly I would listen to you dissecting the dances for an hour. I love Seventeen and I love your vids. Your reactions are always great (meme worthy! 🤣🤣) but you always give so much insight and breakdowns which makes your videos so interesting.
With so many people it would be a petty not having songs like this! Their performance makes you feel like they've popped out of an old musical. Actually, because this choreo doesn't have strong sounds like "Hit" you'd expect it to be more chill, but with all these small details and constant placement changes I doubt they have time to breath!

Yes! This is one of the craziest choreo they've done after Hit. The first time I watched the dance practice, I didn't even noticed that seungkwan was out of the choreo until his last part. The transitions are insane. Seventeen never really disappoints especially with their choreos.

This dance reminds me a lot of Singin’ In the Rain, and also marching band routines. It looks a lot like tap dancing and the transitions from one position to another really reminds me of marching band. Especially at around 3:24 and the first chorus it looks so much like the transitions/routines that a band would do.
Honestly I love to see an in-depth analysis for this even if it is an hour long.

I can relate to the footwork that you mentioned in the chorus part because I learned this choreography for fun and to do exercise and it principally happened to me that I got the steps but when I played the music I just forgot everything hahaha.
Edit: I just want to say that I’m fine with it right now, I don’t miss the steps anymore hahaha, but it required constant practice for it.
This makes me realized maybe that’s why there is not much Kpop covers of SEVENTEEN because mostly their choreography is hard to learn unless people who is going to do covers really pays attention and make extra effort and to find other 12 people to join u to do their cover is also hard to find.
