    That was excellent!
    Although the most difficult part in my view is to present someone's deficiencies to them and expect them to take it well and implement it... 😬

    Hi! Could you please elaborate on the best timeline to do an audit? I can't understand if we're supposed to do it after our plab 1 and 2 or beforehand. Thanks in advance!

    Hi love this video but I do have a question, can you do an audit in out patient department and not a hospital? There is an OPD where I work and it's not a hospital. Can we perform an audit there?

    Can I do the Clinical Audit in my home country before my PLAB? Can the supervisor be a senior doctor and not a consultant working as Clinical manager in the Hospital?

    Should it be considered as Plagiarism if one redo an audit which is already published at RCR's website?

    • @plabmadeeasy
      @plabmadeeasy  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, you can take the model and apply at your own hospital

    thanks a lot. in my hospital, i have noticed couple of problems like, long waiting time in opd for patients, delay in getting blood reports in ward, delay in getting radiology reports
    can an audit be done for the above problems?

      But there is no national guideline against which these can be measured.
      Can I set my own guideline or it can be as per NSH or any other international standard.?

    sir my questions are-
    1- can u name some publications in which these audits as well as researches are to be published
    That they are acceptable in uk?
    2- what publications should not be used for publishing ur work ?
    3. Upto what number your name must be there in audit or research so as to be acceptable in uk?

    Hello, Thank you so much for uploading this. Really helpful.
    Quick Qs ; Open to anyone in the comments as well.
    I'm doing an audit currently, is adding a re-audit as a plan of action required? Or are discussion and posters sufficient? I don't have much time as I am doing an attachment.

    • @plabmadeeasy
      @plabmadeeasy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes re-auditing is better.

    • @ria7470
      @ria7470 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@plabmadeeasy Thank you so much for replying. Unfortunately, I won’t be associated with the hospital when the time for re-auditing arises which is why I may have to omit it from my plan of action.
      Will that have an impact on the quality of the QIP?

    • @plabmadeeasy
      @plabmadeeasy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ria7470 Yes. It will not be a complete cycle audit.

    Thank you for such great video explaination sir.
    It would really be appreciated if you could clear some of my doubts :-
    1.As a medical intern, do we need to have a official guide to carry out an audit?
    2. Is there a minimum limit on the no. Of patients we are collecting data of? (Eg. Atleast 50 patient sample)
    3. If i want to do a clinical audit regarding some topic that has previously been done in some other institute , is it valid or it won't be accepted.
    4. After ethical comittee gives clearance to my proposal and after completion of the audit , where are we supposed to submit the data to?
    5. Finally, my medical UG college doesnot have a Audit department but PSM dept is there... So does that mean I cannot do this audit??

    thank you , but i have a question , in my home country we don't have a department for audit , so how i can get my audit to be recognized or approved ? as i saw you had many audit specific papers also you had a certificate of completion of audit , but in my country we don't have that , so what to do ?

  • @drdoctor3961

    Can the same be done in India while doing a job as junior resident with the help of the consultants ? What proof is required to show that we did it in our home country.. a certificate at the end? As there is no hospital here where audits are done! Or the whole data should be maintained as a proof?

    • @plabmadeeasy
      @plabmadeeasy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, A certificate should be enough.
