also while I'm at it, they're playing the third movement completely wrong. They're playing 16th notes in the main theme instead of 32nd notes. Other than that, great performance.
Benjamin Britten’s “Six Metamorphoses after Ovid” or his pieces for Oboe and piano are great. Stravinsky’s Ebony Concerto and other pieces around the same time. th-cam.com/video/1JjzTD_TVAQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=uIOc-XLxF_8fd7Y3 Also Steve Reich: th-cam.com/video/a3-wWv2JQq4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=J0zOhriAdISQLh69 And th-cam.com/video/poG0537wCfM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MvgaWNE6C0cYqyST
I played bassoon in a performance of this in high school. Learning it really taught me how to be a musician.

This is my favorite piece I have played in a woodwind quintet. I loved playing the clarinet solo in the beginning and the eerie parts throughout. 😁
Nice foot stamping at 11:50 I could never hold back either.
One for the bassoonatics amongst others 👍🏽
Great piece and very good interpretation. Thanks for uploading with score.
5:24 Interesting orchestration here -- the flute is in its weakest register against the other instruments in strong registers.
Beautiful. Thanks for uploading!!!

Very nice, cheerful and witty music.
Something redolent of Prokofiev off and on. A lovely piece of music indeed ! I love it.
Wow, you put together not only a good performance, but one that can be appreciated for the internet listener as a strong live gig!
Sounds like fun.
Anyone notice how there are time signature changes in the last movement but they are not written?! 💁♂️
That's true of all five movements.
I need some more recommendations for woodwind pieces, i absolutely love this one
Barber “Summer Music” And Ligeti too
Have you heard taffanel’a quintet?
