Can I suggest investing in rod holders that are made of leather and sit around your waist so the rod end (tip) stops digging into wherever you sit the rod on your person (don't even know if they are still manufactured). My dad used to have one.

Nice reels. I am planning to get the 12, would you suggest an all purpose lighter rod to match this reel? For live baiting, trolling and might be some jigging as well? Ideally something available in US for warranty purposes. Thanks 🙏

Thanks for the contact, If trolling the longer 7ft model - Medium 30-65lb will be perfect for you, If live baiting the 5'10" 2 pc 30-50lb will be a better option. Good luck.
