I visited when I was 11 years old in 1983. I still have my LEGO Drivers Licence from the Driving School. It was fantastic - it took me a little while to work out how to drive the car but i got there in the end. Unfortunately, I have not returned to Denmark since then. It’s a long way from New Zealand where I live.
I still remember when I was 11 years old, and my mom took me and my sister to Legoland Billund for two days in July-August 2003. Those were the happiest days of my childhood. 😊
Thank you for uploading this. I've been to Legoland for almost every year in my childhood. Brings back so many memories. Even though there is so much new stuff.
Same, all tough I’m 13 now so much of the stuff isn’t so interesting any more. Now I just ride the roller coasters with my brothers, and enjoy their wilder roller coasters 😂😂
Hello, could you please tell me which park is better LEGOLAND or Skyline park(near München)-for teenagers who want to try sth extreme(I am sorry for my mistakes,I don’t know English very well
I am from denmark. It brings so manny good memories back to me to see this video. Specialy the jungle racers forlystelse. I remember my dad standig behind of me, and holding me. While i was driving the wheel to get the boat swing more to the edge. Good memories 😊
I’m from Denmark and I love being in LEGO land (I come to lego land around 10 times a year) and I can’t wait til 2020 because they are making new things inspired by LEGO the movie
I'd been there when I visited Denmark, many~many years ago:in 1990!!It supposed to be "summer" there-but the cold I'd received...wasn't summery at all, cause I'm from south Europe(P.I.G.S.,hah,hah) in Mediterranean coast. Sincerely,I'm so gratefull to all Danish people for their politeness and hostpitality and giving me the chance of having the best vacation trip in my entire life...As an almost adult then,I was really stressed preparing for exams to enter the university, and adorable people in Denmark did their best, the country itself's fascinating,so beautiful&cute&clean&tiny, as a doll house,as in Legoland,Billund. Actually I'm excited+touched 2now,last but not least-my visit there could not be more enjoyfull!!My memories're incredible!♡Thank you Skaerbaek,Ribe,Haderslev,Odense,Esbjerg,Loggumkloster,Romo island,Wadden Sea,..♥.e.t.c.,e.t.c.(As far as I can remember after 26 years)♡♥♡♥
I love the fact that it's near Billund lufthavn and you can basically see planes take off and land while you eat ice cream. I will make a video of it too, next time I go there!
tusind tak !! for this film. we got a great overview over all the attractions - saved us probably a lot running around without knowing time !!! thank you for that ! We are looking forward to enjoy now !!
Ive been there 🇩🇰 exactly one year ago (21/8/18) when the park had its 50y anniversary. What i can remember the best is that there was an annoying and intrusive french boi with blond dyed hair and a shirt of the french national team right behind me in the queue for the 'flying eagle' trying to push to the front. And today, i visited legoland again and during the ride on the 'vikings river splash' a guy looking like my 54yo math tutor sat next to me. Great memories, as always 😂 The park is still a great destination for a day trip and for having lots of fun tho (except 'ninjago: the ride' - really, dont go there. Ur waiting for 2h just to spin around in a cart and doing silly hand gestures. Trust me. It sux)
Fun fact: This was the first Lego Land. This park was Originally planned by Godtfred. Also, those builds you see in Lego land billund in mini land was built by Godtfrad’s Son, Kel.
There is just something about it.. It has heart - you can feel they cared when it was designed :) Im a bit biased because im danish, but still. Some of the most famous rides in denmark are here.

Ive been in there and Its really amazing looking + Its the first even Legoland (cuz legos invented In denmark) Americans just took the "Legoland" business and made it like they make Legos i like the Billunds More all the nostalgia from the place *Greetings from brother country Finland*
Hi Marius, we spent two full days in the park filming this video. I feel that two days are enough to see it all, but 3 is fine too if you want to take it very slow.
Hi, glad you liked the video! Well, I think your question is difficult. Our son was 4 yrs when we went and he loved it. 2,5 yrs might be a bit young to enjoy much of the park. If you have the option to wait a year or two that might be the best. If not, go for it!
Late reply, but it is Billund. They always build new attractions, so therem ight be a bit more, but i think you have just missed/skipped something. There is only one Legoland in Denmark.

Im 11 and i might come there in a short time 😃
You wouldn’t think Zealand and New Zealand would be so far from each other.
Tomorrow me and my family are going there for the first time!
I still remember when I was 11 years old, and my mom took me and my sister to Legoland Billund for two days in July-August 2003. Those were the happiest days of my childhood. 😊
I’m from Billund, and although I never slept at the hotel, I’ve still tried everything many times over. It never really gets old.
Remember visiting it once as a kid. One of my fondest memories!
Same i went about 25 years ago :)
@@philipmellor104 I can go there pretty much every weekend
@@Madlad_Matt aww lucky :(

It is so close because LEGO paid for and built the airport
Legoland Denmark, where it all began

Was there 24 years ago. Still looks the same with some new attractions. Great!

Thinking of going here next year with my little one, took him to Windsor but this one looks like it has a lot more

Hey 4 years later you. Did you know this lego land is the original Legoland and have the original lego stor?
3:50 is Final Fantasy Tactics' main battle music!! I didn't expect to meet at Legoland in Denmark.
Looks like a lot of fun for the kids!
Man, things have changed since I was there in the late 90’s...
I was there in -79. Remember som mini stuff and the shop but I was happy still.
Legoland denmark is like.. good old fashioned fun, no futuristic tech, the pirate water ride is a good example of that.
So happy .... I still remember 14 year ago
Nice Video. Helps me a bit more to decide if I should visit LEGOLAND or not. It seems to be pretty cool there, even for "old" children :D
I Think YOU should:)
Dustin Hoffmann 😁👍
I was there in late August 2019 it’s great 😁👍
i love legoland because it's so coolllll😍
Nah it's just for kids like 6-12 year olds
I remember going there as a little kid.
Like the new video .Very much.
Thank you! Cheers!
This place look better then legoland California
Of course :-) its been here for many many years. It's like Disney world US and Disney world Paris. The one in US is better ;-)

Drainpipe
All the adults in the miniboat is like "this is so boring".😂👊🏻
Cause it is. I stood in line for 30 mintues because my brother wanted to go on it
I'm 15, I like it
lol if you like design, you might like the ride as well - Isn't it usually the children that play with Lego and therefore wanna go to Legoland?
Supreme Commander Grievous But you’re not an adult
Speedy I came here but I decided not to go cuz I realized it was all kids
have fun in legoland
this looks very good in Denmark how much to get in am hoping to come for the summer next year
Legoland looks so fun!!
this blows the two in the US out of the water!
US is all greed. Nothing is great there. Only advertising that brain washes to make people think its great.
Yeah the USA sucks
We love the place!
In shows Theres a show where They Do backflips, frontflips, and much more
But only on hot summer days, since it's in the water
Thank you for this video!
There is just something about it.. It has heart - you can feel they cared when it was designed :) Im a bit biased because im danish, but still. Some of the most famous rides in denmark are here.
Totally agree :)
I was goin to there last year and I have nine years old
Nice video I enjoyed it 🙂

Nice work.

Missing the Mine train, where you take a train through the goldmines with lego cowboys working inside
I kid you not Mark.
The resort is made out of legos
Miniland is my favourite because of the monorail XD
Tove The RowdyRuff Girl what’s a monorail?

Do you think it is worth such a visit even in December or January?
Hi, I think summer is better, but if winter is the only option and its open, then go for it.
Ive been in there and Its really amazing looking + Its the first even Legoland (cuz legos invented In denmark) Americans just took the "Legoland" business and made it like they make Legos i like the Billunds More all the nostalgia from the place *Greetings from brother country Finland*
Nah, they build parks in Germany and GB before the United States
I went in 2004 and 2009. Not much have changed, really. Except, of course, they stopped selling Bionicle
2:46 Am i the only one thinking, these lego lifesized humans look like simpsons out of legos
In how many days did you filmed this movie? My question is how many days do you need at legoland? 2-3 are enough?
Hi Marius, we spent two full days in the park filming this video. I feel that two days are enough to see it all, but 3 is fine too if you want to take it very slow.
The Best thing About Legoland: the Danish weather
Nice video !
Thanks! :)
Thank you for uploading this great video. Whould you say this place is good for 2.5 years old boy? If we will go there it's just for him.
Hi, glad you liked the video! Well, I think your question is difficult. Our son was 4 yrs when we went and he loved it. 2,5 yrs might be a bit young to enjoy much of the park. If you have the option to wait a year or two that might be the best. If not, go for it!
9 years since the last time... And I'm exited :-) both for my girls ( 3 and 5 ) and for me :-P tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow
which program did you use for this movie ? Sony vegas , pinnacle , premiere ?
Hi, I used Final Cut Pro X for the edit.
Very cool
Thanks, sure is! 😊
Amazing lego
Hi! Where exactly is this, in Denmark or...? I visited Legoland in Billund 6 years ago, but I do not remember so many atractions as in this video.

How is legoland today after covid???
I like to go to Legoland ride roller coasters
Nice place right
How many days do we need to be able to see it all?
Hi Sofia, we spent two full days in the park and I think this is enough to see it all and do many of the attractions.
My childrens play with plenty toys of legos. They enjoy the legos.
I was there in billund in summer. It was super fun!
I used to love legoland but.. The older you get, The less stuff for you to do there..
Wow
Yeah I agree
Wasn't LEGO made in Denmark?
Jake THE LEGO guy..... yes it was
Are here all the attractions in Billund?
These are all the attractions when the video was made, but som new attractions have been added after the video was made.
I really thought it would be a lot more lego than this. It’s like 20% legoland
Lovely place to visit but very expensive........
Depens. This year Legoland billund turned 50 years, so I bought year passes with a huge discount.

great Demark!
Is it possible to deconstruct these Lego models?
Prolly glued on each other
They have gotten new cars for the Safari ride the new ones are not made of ‘’lego bricks’’
Do we have to bring swimsuits or we won't get wet?
No need to bring swimsuit :)
such a nice place
It really is!
I was there on the Easter :D
Seems like fun
Great!
I remember frog hopper was SO FUCKING SCARY back then as a child
I was 13 years ago there :(
I'm italian but I love this place😍
How could you forget the flying eagle
Didn't forget. That ride was introduced after we were there :)
