I just bought your leaders last week and I want to say they work great. I put them on my frame yesterday (then I got your email about your videos).I'm so glad I watched this because I wondered why the name was printed on both sides, now I know! Thank you for posting these videos, please post more. Diane P
The next video we are working on will be how to pin the quilt on your frame. This will work for just about any machine frame. Hopefully we can get Kathy to step in and show us her magic. She says that she can pin any quilt on in 10 minutes or less. Let's see how she does it.
Hi! Thanks for the tutorial! Can you use the Red Snappers in your leaders and if so, do you think they are better than the plastic tube that comes with the Grace Thanks so much for any help you can give me
Hi Tanya, Red Snappers will work but the problem that people don't consider is that the lump they make in the take up rail makes it so you have to raise the take up rail higher off the bed of the machine so that it doesn't hit when you roll it. That will effect your stitch quality so it is better to just pin the quilt to the leaders. After doing in a few times it does get easier. The Fabri-Fast tubing just holds the leaders in, you have to use that to install our leaders. - Lynn
The Grace Company makes the leaders so they have a video that shows how to attach the leaders. We attach the leaders the same as in our attaching leaders on a launch pad frame. Same basic principle for attaching the Velcro
Check out our website www.KathyQuilts.com, we sell all of our leaders and products on there! or give us a call at 888-826-0222 and we can help you out!
When doing any size quilt just center it in the middle of your frame. It is too much work to change the size of your frame or leaders every time you do a different size quilt. Stick with king leaders and you should be fine

kathyquilts Thank you so much! Makes perfect since.
Tanya Thomas I am such a newbie at all of this. So is the Velcro the way to go for installing the leaders?
Can you please do a video on attaching the velcro and tape?
