Sorry you had jerks interrupting your video, The review of the kit was great. Jerks are all around us from all our different cultures; no need to group all together (the dude comment I made has many different connotations in the US and was a poor choice for me to use)
Simon, HUGE respect to you for pulling off a hand drill fire, and with no tools other than what you made and improvised! For a future video, perhaps you could share any "traditional" tools, woodsman's campfire meals, techniques, etc that are unique to your country or region?
Restless nights are for fit, younger men like you. I realize you could easily have improved your basic shelter to provide more protection from wind or weather. Making that friction fire kit with local stone and wood was amazing to see.
I agree with the idea of edible wild plants I am also from the U.S. and would like to see what plants you have I really like your videos Thanks for doing them. Give your dog a hug for me . I really think your dog is so cool. .
This is a great video. An idea I had is that you do a video about edible wild plants. I'm from the US so I know it will be different, but it'll still be cool
You did a Hell of a job bubby. If you don't mind a small pointer. When you are cutting the knotch in the pivot point for your fire stick, it's a lot easier to just scrape it against the edge of a sharp rock. Saves you a lot of time and energy. Other than I would've used my shoe string to make a bow drill, you did a damn good job. Love your videos.
Point of this vid is primitive theme so I don't think they had 550 paracord back in the day. Also, when using your bootlace, you're risking your laces. Have a nice day! Simon
You could use clay and filter the water with a hollow piece if wood...after or before..then you could put pine needles in your water to have a flavor and vit c.......you could also put a tall piece of wood a little tree...in the fire..and move it in while it burns...
great video, i am impressed with the effort you go to, i would not have thought of hot rocks in the MRE bag, (maybe i would have tried to make a filter with ash/moss/sand)
Hey man ! Keep up the work ! New to the channel but watch your videos every day for the past week! Really wish you would put up a Q and A if you don't have one already !
I have just a few if you need some. 1. Where you in the military ? 2. How did you learn English? 3. What got you into survival and bush craft? Thank you for taking the time to reply to my comment!
You could have tried you shoe lace or a string or tear a bit of your teeshirt to tie it to a stick and use a tiny bow like to make a fire...instead of using your hands....
Water from a running river will give you diarrhea? I’m a class III kayaker & I’ve swallowed a good bit of river water from getting my boat flipped in a current. Never had digestive issues. But, the water was freeeezing glacial melt off.
Great video! Just a thought. Since the MRE pouch survived the hot rocks under the sand, instead of hot rocks inside the pouch, next time dig a hole in the sand then place hot rocks all around the pouch. Then you probably won’t get the stone taste. I would like to have one of those MRE pouches (full or empty) to try that.
Cool - next time take nothing - tool , clothes , food... You survive anyway Is there any chaleng that yuo could not win or pass ? Bravo faco - jak si Full respect
What a crock of shit - that set aint never gonna produce a coal and you'd be spinning till the skin dropped off your paws before it did. Nice try Spielberg!

Crombat Rations dude spent a lot of time making homophobic and Romanian comments in the review of the Yugoslavian mess kit???
Yup.Thats the dude that was interrupted by gypsies over and over again so he was kinda angry. But tnx for watching anyway!
Sorry you had jerks interrupting your video, The review of the kit was great. Jerks are all around us from all our different cultures; no need to group all together (the dude comment I made has many different connotations in the US and was a poor choice for me to use)
That's pretty much the kind of survival I do,, love it. Almost 70 and still getting out in the woods

Nice work! Hand drill fires do take a lot of patience. I really liked the way you constructed the moss bed!

Also do you have any experience with the esee 6 knife?
I have expirience with esee 4. I think that is too much of a price but great knives though.
Survivaland thanks
We did a vid on western North American edible and useful plants if you are interested Colin.
Use your boot lace for the " fiddle"!!
I could. Or simply do the bowdrill. Not this time 😊
Cool Video 👍

Your outdoor skills are immensely valuable. Thanks for sharing some with us. : )
Thank you buddy!
good stuff!!! very clever way of heating up your ration pouch
I would never say an MRE looks beautiful. But if it's all you've got, it's definitely edible. Chilli Mac and jalepeno cheese for life.
Well done ...Hot rocks in MRE bag...good thinking to get some water.
Good work out the door
very nice video, good thing you are in karst (kras) region, plenty of caves there to use as natural shelters. Great job.
Love the video, the most bed was great lol! I think I shall subscribe my good sir, I mean I already left a comment so might as well lol!

Tommy robinsons doing bear grills now?
Cool! These are the best experiences!
You can cool down the mre bag in the creek after stoneboiling.
What is the brand of your boots?
ATB,
Géza
Thank you! Those are Alpina Tundra

You know that MRE came with a heating pack that will cook the food. Just add water and it gets hot as hell.
You such a big joker Simon

I have an idea where u have to built a shelter out of a hole in the ground

Dude that MRE had drink mix in the bag and a ziplock bag for you water (to mix the drink mix and drink from). WTF?
