Wolves coats 'may' get longer, however that's not accurate. All wolves and "northern breed dogs" grow AN UNDERCOAT. The undercoat is what helps protect them from severe cold and high winds, not their "Guard Hairs." The same undercoat can protect them from heat when they started shedding. How? When they shed, but the undercoat is still in their guard hairs, helps air flow on their skin. I have 25 years experience with over 20 Wolf-Dogs, so I know how they adapt for both winter temps down to -35 and summer temps up to 110F in WI.
Omg born and raised in colorado.. How do I not know about this... Fyi they see u as alpha.. Alphas dont play. Maybe that's why there not so manic. Hey tho ur the wolf whisperer.. Do u girl props.
It's basic wolf etiquette to lick inside your mouth. The wolves are slightly offended that the human doesn't want to lick them back. Very rude indeed :(
