The game is not broken when it doesn't announce who killed. It's just that the damage is so divided and low from each of them, game won't announce it if the damage is too low.
I think a zombie apocalypse event would be interesting. A few regular players play as whatever they want and everyone else is a zombie Gigan. Last player alive gets the prize.
