+Gingium I've won many races by just tuning one thing. you drivetrain. set your acceleration to 90% and your deceleration to 10%. with this you will get a lot less of spinning your tires and you will get better grip and launches. and use full drag slicks too. add me on Xbox. DriftMonkey1998

Gingium, I like how you make the front gires as wide as the back and expect it to turn good, the GT500 has staggered rims from factory why would you make the fronts the same in the back

Well, the GT500 is meant as the "King of the Road" type of car. Who takes a heavy Mustang with a 662HP 5.8L Trinity V8 to the track. The GT350R is meant as a "King of the Track" type of car. With its 5.2L Voodoo Flat-Plane Crank V8 pushing 526HP, it's well more suited for the track especially since it's extremely light.

New rules suggestion,both of you are not allowed to tune your cars.and you should guys be on the same tyre compound.for drag use drag compounds and for racing use racing compund so the race is more equal and fun to watch.one sided races are lame and boring af

It's been decades since GT500 and GT350 actually meant anything. They're both just the top of their models now, and are therefore comparable

GT500 is so good at drag racing because it has a solid rear axle.
It won because of the tires. Solid rear axle is pretty much never an advantage.
You've obviously never been on a Mustang forum, since all the drag racing guys bitch about how much weaker the IRS is. The solid rear axle is excellent at putting traction down in a straight line. Even top fuel dragsters have solid rear axles.
Solid rear axle is a huge advantage going in a straight line. It puts down much more power than an IRS. Live axle however is ancient technology and the new stangs have IRS, better cornering but live is better in a straight.
